The chicken fillet burger while being more like a sandwich was probably the greatest thing I’ve had in years. Fantastic if I didn’t live so far away I would eat there all the time. Got recommended from the young bloke at 99 bikes so give him a pat on the back he told me he eats there all the time.

Rooster Bar is hands down the best privately owned chicken bar I've ever eaten at. If you're eating here get Jimmy to make your burger, that bacon and pineapple really hits different when he's putting it together.

So delicious I keep coming back! Chicken is always moist and flavoured with Italian seasoning. Cannot get enough of the chips. Great for a quick and easy meal. Always packed at lunch, even during "these uncertain times" (in a socially distanced and responsible way)

This place is the best bbq chicken shop anywhere in the area. Their chickens are chemical free and have an amazing flavour. Awesome scalloped potato and their chicken rolls are absolute perfection. I’ve heard the chips are amazing too. Quick, friendly and efficient service when you go in and now they’re on Ubereats- my only criticism of that is there is no scalloped potato on the delivery menu. Have been around for ages and always been popular. They’re such an asset to the neighbourhood.

The $20 minimum is unacceptable. I offered to pay whatever the fee was that the bank would charge but they wouldn’t accept - INSTEAD decided to waste the food and I was left to leave empty handed. I sincerely hope you are paying your taxes.

Never going back, absolutely disgusting my seafood salad had a hair in it, then my son told me his chicken had hair also, someone should send the inspectors to check

Been a loyal patron for many years, until given raw chickens last two times! Sorry Rooster bar this post is not trying to ruin your business but a reminder to please be careful. Just because the last chook at the end of the rotisserie stick didn't get enough charcoal heat to cook the chicken right through, isn't a good enough excuse to sell raw chicken!

Great place for a bite to eat. Head here for lunch often. Staff are friendly and food is always great. Only complaint is not being able to make a phone order for chips?

No Eftpos for under $20 so I had to leave and go somewhere else. Not sure of their thinking of in this day and age, was very inconvenient.

Nor recomand to anybody who eat a little food and need to pay with card as minimum you need spand $20. I beliveve this need to be iligal to force spand your money more then you need it.

Went there for the first time. We had great service from the person over the counter. Delicious chicken burgers and good prices. Definitely recommend!

Been going to this place for 2 decades and Nick the owner still puts in the same effort as he did when I first met him. Great tender chicken and just love the stuffing and chips. Best place in Melbourne.

This is a cut above your standard chicken bar. They also do a Portuguese-style flat chicken and offer a wide range of salads, meal packs and the best chips. Consistently good quality and great prices.

A fantastic charcoal chicken house in Northcote. I have been living in the area for some time now and I always come here.
It’s relatively priced compared to the other charcoal chicken joints in the area.
But what I can say in terms of Taste and price. It’s in my favourite:)

My partner brought home chicken, pasta salad and stuffed pepper from this establishment and I've got to say it's the best I've tasted in years. I give 5 stars but I can't comment on their service as I haven't personally been to the shop.
