Best charcoal chicken shop in Melbourne.
I normally shy away from salad bars, but not here.
The salads are made fresh every day and are a meal on their own.
Plenty of seating inside and outdoors.
Gets busy lunch time but the food comes out quickly.

Generous amount of food. Their salads tastes really good. Might have to wait for sometime, during busy times.

Delicious roast chicken staple in the area. Still affordable during these expensive times.

One of the greats. Redefines the word value. You get a solid chicken fillet burger, heaps of chips and a drink for like $15. I am talking quite a few chips. Like they give you way more chips than you'd expect. No shortage of chips. For reasons discussed (in particular volume of chips), I will keep coming back.

Pretty tasty chicken burgers. However. I have been sick for three days and counting after consuming one on Friday night. Can't eat anything, constantly need to be by a toilet. I think there may be some cross contamination issues here or salmonella bacteria concerns. I don't know all i know is the last meal I ate was a grilled chicken burger and a regular chips and I till feel ill 3 days later.

Also I do want to point out, every time I order here I feel like I am annoying the server by placing an order. I'm just a bit confused why the staff who serve me seem irritated to serve customers? Very unhappy staff. Perhaps a managerial issue? It should be standard practice to feel welcomed whilst you take our money, but sadly deliver food poisoning.

I will avoid from now on.

Without a doubt the best charcol chicken shop in Melboune. Real handcut chicken schnitzel, homemade fresh salads & delicious sides.
I rarely give a review but these guys deserve it.

My 2nd time. Had to go back again. Better then kfc I must say. Better quality and staff take pride in this business. 1/2 chicken, chips and a salad I can say it worth the coin. Always fresh. Plenty of room if eating inside, also seating outside of venue.

Have been living off this place for several months now and have to say that this should be the industry standard of charcoal chickens.

It really helps me sleep at night knowing there are still institutions out there serving up this level of quality.

Fillet burger for $10 is nothing short of a miracle in this economy.

Got half chicken and chips for 12bucks from here. The quantity and crispyness of the chips isn't as good as Preston chicken shack, but the chicken is better with the bones literally coming clean of the chicken. The seasoning on the chicken was really good as well. Also added updated pics for the menu.

Tbh it wasn’t that bad but it definitely isn’t a 4.5. Order was forgotten and slow.
Burger was plain. Was hoping for something special but sometimes a chicken shop burger is just a chicken shop burger.
Will probably just make a wrap at home next time.

Great place, great and friendly staff and great food with lovely flavour, they have normal roasted chicken and also purtegesse style, both are very tastey and yummy! Great choice for family meals either dine in or takeaway!

This place is nothing short of an institution. I ate here frequently throughout my degree and never had a bad meal.
Terrific chicken

The chicken is so flavoursome, succulent and tender. There is also a good variety of salads available and its so reasonably priced. Love this place.
