Staff here are REALLY RUDE and disrespectful seriously never going back. Would NEVER recommend this restaurant to anyone staff need to learn how to use manners

Friendly staff you can tell this place has been in the family for decades and decades, its still very classic 80s Chinese restaurant style which I love -

could do with a clean and some new carpet or carpet cleaning or something as long as the style remains traditional

Food here is not bad but this restaurant has the rudest lot of staff working. Terrible service and just the way the ladies taking the orders speak to customers wanting to spend money at their restaurant is amazingly mind blowing. If anyone wants an example of how not to run a restaurant, visit this place. Brings a whole new meaning to ridiculous customer service. How this place is still open when better restaurants with fantastic customer service have closed beats me. Give it a miss and visit somewhere else.

Genuine Cantonese food only here; the food is cooked exactly how it would be in Hong Kong, well priced and topped off with a good selection of roast meat. The service isn’t fantastic but sufficient.

Bad food tasteless roasting duck and bad service.
Before i decided order food i usually look at the review.
Then i found this restaurant has good but bad service
I have same uncomfortable experience when i eating in Cantonese restaurant not all them but most of them.
But this one is beyond my understanding.if you don't understand their language they will be very angry.
Anyway i will never come back again

Well known to Chinese community, this restaurant is also my family's favorite one. Authentic Hong Kong style food.

My family fav resto for supper! We always go for their signature dishes. Century egg congee with Pork, Roast Duck noodles, fried pig intestines, you tiao. Roast pork rice. ️️ I know it's is sinful to have but it sure warms all our bellies! Staff r pretty friendly. They love it if you speak Cantonese to them.

My dad loves the food and chose this place to eat while he was visiting from interstate.

I knew from memory how bad the service would be but I was not prepared.
The first thing I apparently did wrong was ask for the waitress to wipe the table because it had not been wiped from the previous customers.
The waitress slammed the cups and tea she was holding down, got a disposable wipe and with the most attitude I've seen from an adult, wiped HALF THE TABLE. I had to wipe the rest of it with my one tissue that they gave me.

The second thing I did wrong was ask for a fork from a second waiter. I had asked this of him while I was standing, so he promptly replied with "Why? Where are you sitting? "
It looked like I offended him for requesting this. I never got the fork.

The 3rd thing we apparently did wrong was have my partner sit at the wrong side of the round table because a 3rd waitress leaned her stomach onto my partners shoulder as she was cleaning up the dirty plates from 3 courses ago, even RESTING HER STOMACHE INTO A PLATE WE WERE STILL USING TO EAT as she reached accross the whole table.

We ordered a whole heap of lobster, pipis and a banquet for the family. Honestly the food was not as good as other restaurants in Springvale, but was palatable.
We spent a small fortune but got treated like beggars.

It was quite the experience.

Decent tasting duck and pork takeaway.
However, paid almost $30 for 1 person's worth which was paired with pretty rude service. Place was not busy and yet were hurrying me to make an order and to pay.

When I went on the first of May, there was no prawn crackers. How dare they say there were no more!

Amazing chinese food and the older ladies servers are always taking good care of us too. Best roast meat in Melbourne and also can't go wrong with their lobster dish.

Waitress was rude from the moment we walked in. Went to another place instead. Don't bother spending your money here. Bunch of clowns

Great food, lobster noodles were generous and fresh. Duck was authentic too

Roast duck I ordered was cold rice was overcooked, I asked for chilly sauce waiter brought me only little bit. Definitely I'm not going back again. Sorry.

Good, food and service from a long standing restaurant in Glen Waverley offering many traditional dishes.

They refused to give a table for one person.
There was 5 customers inside, 20ppl capacity due the covid restrictions.
Cant tell how good/bad is the food, but service is lower than a star for sure.

When ordering roast duck for takeaway, DO NOT ask for it to be chopped. I ordered half a duck last week, chopped. It was evident when I got home that I had been sold 0.4 of a duck rather than half. I have been eating roast duck for more than 35 years, so I have reasonably good idea of duck anatomy. Won't be returning in future.

Arguably the worst dining experience in Glen Waverley. Come to enjoy the lovely wait staff project their bitterness towards each patron.

Fried rice was microwaved! Beef and vegetable in oyster sauce was horrible! Restaurant is always dirty! Please call the health commission! Carpet smells like it has been moped with dirty water! Management is extremely rude. Don't go. Go to Ocean King in the station end of the street. Trust me.
