I had never heard of this agency before, I now know why! "Complete amateurs! " Having missed a call from Robert Walters, a message was left for me to call them back which I did, I was advised the person I wished to speak to was not at their desk, however they would call me back, guess what? They didn't have the decency to call back? Do yourself a favour if you want to enroll with a recruitment agency Go to the professionals try Hays by far the best. Avoid Robert Walters.

Don't fall for their referral scheme.still waiting over a year despite numerous follow up attempts after successfully placing a friend. They don't follow up.

I was interviewed by Mel, about a finance position dealing with commodities. I told her that I was looking for a position in Finance OR Financial Planning. Then she just cut all my sayings by saying that the position will be given to the applicants who are looking for jobs in Finance NOT Financial Planning. I tried to explain that I told her either Finance OR Financial Planning, because I studied those subjects in RMIT.
Also commodities and trading were part of my Finance subjects at uni, and I explained to her. But she was very rude and ignorant and just cut all my reasons and hung up the phone. My suggestion to Robert Walters, you better educate your recruiters.how come she could not understand that we all have options to look for jobs, like me saying either in Finance OR Financial Planning.
So watch your recruiters very well. I also found another recruiter who does not understand at all about Finance and FInancial Planning. Some subjects of Finance are taught in Financial Planning course. So it is connected to each other. What a dumb recruiter.

Stunning views from the RW office. I organised a Test Engineering Alliance meetup at the RW office in Melbourne and the hospitality from their staff was amazing.
