Paul was great! I went into the Preston store knowing roughly what i wanted, although was a little confused about all the options. Paul took the time to show me through a number of options, answer all my questions, and give me no nonsense honest advice. Paul, much appreciated for the time and assistance you provided.

Purchased a pair of Canton Townus 30 bookshelf speakers.
AMP= AMC XIA150.
SPEAKER CABLE= 12 AWG OFC
CD Player= Audio Space T-88A.
CD output= RCA tube stage.
Room 3.5 x 3.5
The sound stage is expansive, constant and detailed.
Highs, mids and lows are sublime.
For a bookshelf speaker, they will not disappoint, small to medium room perfection.
I highly recommend these speakers, they are simply beautiful to look at, and stunning without the grills.
I'd like to give a big shoutout to Rob (Preston) for all your assistance and help.

I ordered an Onkyo turntable but was on back order. So Paul from the retail sales suggested me music hall classic turntable and it’s the best turntable I have ever had. I saved 100$ and it’s been delivered in 3 days. What an amazing customer service.

Wanted a $750 NON REFUNDABLE deposit to pre order an Onkyo receiver that won't arrive until June and no guarentee even then!

I'd stay clear and find someone with more reasonable terms, 10% deposit I could understand but I would still want it refundable if the item doesn't arrive on time.

To take $750 with no guarentee it will arrive in the period let alone whether they will even be in business in 5 months times is a bit of a tall order.

Their excuse is that it guarentees allocation and stops me from changing my mind, if they are in such high demand what the hell would it matter if I did change my mind, it would easily sell to the next person on the list. This is just a money grab.

Poor service warranty is non existent on brand new item failure, nowhere to go other than re purchase at my own expense. Do yourself a favour and shop elsewhere.

Just picked up my integra amplifier after several months of waiting was worried but having dealt with Rio for years I wasn't too overally concerned

Oh good golly molly.this is the worst hifi store in Australia. DO NOT BUY ONLINE FROM THESE SCAMMERS.me partner didn't receive his order - a gift for me - for over 6 weeks! And when he called.omg.the lies and excuses went on for weeks.and quite frankly rude and aggressive manner on the phone by some guy Paul who wouldn't give his surname.disgusting.sorry i cant put 0 stars.avoid like the plague.

I recently purchased my home theatre system from Rio sound and vision and my experience was delightfully pleasant. The staff had an extensive level of product knowledge and supported me throughout my purchase. I cannot recommend Rio sound enough for there customer service and product quality. Will definitely be a return customer in the near future.
