Red Rooster Ascot Vale

Drove through the drive through today and was served by Angelina who was absolutely wonderful! She was super patient with us and so cheerful, an extremely pleasant experience, thanks Angelina:)

Almost all of them are chicken breasts, only a small amount of chicken thighs. The chicken breast is fried very dry without any juice. But their honey Chili sauce is delicious.

I would say it again and again this branch is One of my best restaurants, the taste of everything is amazing, the quality is in the highest level of good quality, the staff is so helpful and friendly

Our group was served by Max. He was very friendly and attentive to not only us but every customer who came through the door. Food was average but would return again for Max, give him a payrise.

Ordered 1/4 chicken & chips stating I wanted a leg.
My order came with a breast.
Took it back and lady at front counter argued that I ordered a breast.
She took it out to Manager who ripped apart a small leg piece which I observed.
Unfortunately, I didnt receive full quarter and therefore will never come back to this restaurant.
Service is abysmal.
Do yourself a favour & go to another chicken shop

Handy location for me if I don't feel like cooking. Food is always cooked fresh while you wait.

This store is the reason why Red Rooster is dying. Terrible food. The burger buns and the chicken were cold and old. The chips wasn't fresh. It was rock hard, as if it was refried several times. It's disgusting.

Absolutely the best team at any fast food restaurant I have been to. And the food is great as well

Men's bathroom was locked so used women's. Atmosphere always a lil glonky at red roosters, ngl

Asked for the chickens that I want but given the opposite of what I want not happy customer Plus no salt on the chips.

I just tried to order one of the lunch specials sent directly to my email, but the guy serving told me it was an old promotion and started pushing another one of their offers. I told him that's not what I wanted and if he /they can't supply their original offer that I would just go elsewhere. Which is exactly what I ended up doing because he really didn't seem to care. I'll be deleting the app, it's good for nothing.

Red Rooster has had the reputation of being the WORST fast food in Australia. But today I can say that that’s quite unfair. I signed up for an account prior, got a crunch box and 2 free pieces of chicken. The lady with red hair tending to the cashier, has the patience of an angel. They had some issues with their system, and not once did she show any annoyance. She bothered to call her boss,
and did everything she could to get us our food. The food: The Chicken was on par with kfc in Australia, well seasoned, juicy, crunchy. The drumsticks were on the smaller side, but keep in mind that its probably the cheapest fried chicken you’re going to find!
The seats and floor were kept clean, which is always pleasant.

Love the staff here, everyone is so friendly. Angelina is super lovely and has great customer service:)

Probably the worst fast food I have ever had. Ordered a chicken wrap meal.

For some reason got chicken in a bun that was so dam hot. The heat coming out of a oven when you open it doesn’t compare to this. Not only was it a bun not a wrap the intense steam and heat made the bun soggy.
So I thought to myself Atleast I have chips. Oh lord was I wrong. No salt on them at all, just hot and dry, if my mouth wasn’t dry before it sure was now.

Atleast the Fanta was great because that isn’t supplied or cooked by your company.

Sharing my recent experience!
Went there on a weekday afternoon. The staff in the front counter was very reasonable and polite took my order properly and i was handed the food with no wait time in about 2-4 mins. The issue i had was with the quality of food.
I had one Rippa box and my friend had one burger box.
Issues-
1. The chicken pieces in both the boxes and the chicken patty in the burgers/rolls were hard as hell. They were not edible for humans. It was so hard to chew that i would not even offer it to dogs. Food Temperature was cold as-well.
2. The bread for Rippa thing was disgusting. The texture of bread. It was less of a bread and more of a puff pastry.

‘Red Rooster’ the name suggests that the place specialises in chicken. But the chicken was the worst. The prices of red rooster are almost same like KFC but i never had this experience in any KFC. I liked red rooster, i have nothing against it but for this specific location please check the quality standards.

I have already given a feedback on their website, just letting everyone know either go to this place in busy times if ever. Or don’t go to this particular place theres a kebab shop opposite to this go there until they improve its much better

Excellent customer service from the owner Max today. He served us at the drive-thru and was very enthusiastic. Chicken was also cooked perfectly.

I ordered 2 Rippa boxes online and when I got to the store they had no idea what I was on about. Eventually they figured it out and when finally I got my food I was so disappointed and discussted. The Rippa roll was stale and bearly had anything in it, the two chicken pieces were so salty, oily and over cooked I gave them to my dog and he didn't even it. That a total Ripp off! Never again
