62Worst experience for driver delivers even when not busy food can take up 10min to make unbelievable
Ordered large chips, cheesey nuggets and salad roll.
What I got was small chips, normal nuggets, and an incredibly stale bun.
This place needs serious help. Wait times also atrocious at times, seems like some staff hate working here or just don't give af.
My cat got hit by a car coming out of the red rooster drive thru. Later on found out it was the owner locking up, I tried to stop him but he drove away as soon as he saw me yelling at him.
Red Rooster.it's time to call it quits. There is no shame it that.you have had a good run for many years but the competition since then has clearly left you behind.stumbled in here out of desperation not having been here in a good 4 years.what happened? Went from selling tasty roast chicken to some weird hybrid menu with wings and fried chicken covered in sticky artificial sauce.disappointed use to be my go to for a classic quarter.many, many, many years ago. Let move on.
Thought I would try Red Rooster after seeing an advertised promo on the telly. However, when I went to the store to try this advertised offer, the Indian male manager lied to me, stating that the promo was only before 4pm, which it was not. I understand that sometimes these fast food promotional offers are only before 4pm, however this one was not. Nowhere during the TV ad, nor on the big banner out front of the store did it ever stipulate "before 4pm" (not even in the fine print). Furthermore, several days later I visited a different RR outlet and was able to order the exact same advertised promo after 4pm. This store manager was just trying to pull the old "bait & switch" tactic (= oldest scam in business).
Food is getting smaller, chicken flayva was cold and so were the chips. Over priced and definitely won't be back again.
The meal i was served is the reason why Red Rooster almost went broke. Rooster rolls are an abomination. Will be avoiding this fast food chain for some time.
Rooster Rolls are terrible here which is sad as they used to be good.
If you’re a fan of Rooster Rolls, go to the Red Rooster in Box Hill North. MUCH better!
Asked for a rooster roll and chips.the lady then read out my order to confirm. I then received some sort of fried chicken roll completely different. Absolutely disgraceful. My anger cannot be put into words. How can such an ignorant mistake be made after the order was confirmed. Will not be returning.
Every single time I purchase something from this place (drive through) it’s cold. Cold chips, cold nuggets. Today I decided to go back in and tell them the cheesy nuggets were cold. I did ask the lady while placing my order for the order to be fresg. The older lady that works there was so rude, wouldn’t accept that the nuggets were cold. It took a young girl to come over and apologise and take them away. The older lady then came out and basically threw the nuggets at me. I was extremely calm and polite the whole time. This woman is an absolute disgrace. Rudest and most unprofessional service I’ve ever come across. She shouldn’t sell food to animals let alone work somewhere where she needs to interact with humans. I will never ever again buy a single thing from this store.
DODGY- OVERCHARGING CUSTOMERS
This is not the first time this has happened to me at this Red Rooster Outlet but I was charged more for my meal than what was displayed/advertised on the drive-thru menu!
This has probably happened to me about 4 times within the past 6-8 months (and I don't purchase from here often), and each time when I question it, the staff will have a reason- public holiday surcharge (which I've never heard of before for fast food outlets), just had a price increase.
Today when I questioned why I was being overcharged, the lady told me that there was a price increase this morning and they hadn't yet changed the prices on the menu.
How is this my problem and why should I be paying more than what is advertised on the menu?
I am also skeptical as to whether the reason is actually true or if the manager is trying to scam customers by charging more, refunding the difference and keeping the money? This issue only seems to happen with staff from one specific ethnicity.
I will never support this Red Rooster outlet again.
THEY ONLY GET WORSE. WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE. TRY SMILING AT YOUR CUSTOMERS, IT MAKES THEM FEEL WELCOME. A simple large chips and thats too Hard. Dont offer my money back when i returned my order

Your a disgrace in Doncaster and should not hold a franchise for RED ROOSTER.

Walked in, and stood at the counter to order for 2 whole minutes without anyone bothering to acknowledge me, even though they were quiet & they knew I was there. But they had their douchebag music playing loudly so I guess that’s more important to them
Everytime we do drive thru for a quick dinner, the food service doesn't disappoint us. We get our orders hot cooked and packed well unlike the neighbour Mcdo which is just awful.
Should hire new staff. Waiting for 10 min or more without no warning at the drive through window. The young lady didn’t even apologise. Don’t come here
We received half of our order from Uber Eats so we’ve had to drive to the restaurant and instead of just giving us our missing order they start b**ching about us trying to score ‘free food’ right in front of us. Completely unprofessional and rude. All we wanted was our missing item, a fault by the staff not of our own.
After waiting for 40 minutes, I told me I didn't know my order. It took me an hour to get my order. Four or five employees in the kitchen got together to eat French fries. You're working! Work without gloves! He took the French fries and put them in his mouth. After eating, he put his hand on his pants and continued to make orders. They didn't wear masks. They didn't look like they were working! They are like a bunch of children playing there. This is what I've been waiting for an hour to see! Never come back, this terrible place, lack of management!
Woeful, ordered online and received no receipt at all just a PayPal confirmation and to boot received one of the wraps with absolutely no chicken in it - nada. The rest of the food was quite greasy, more so than at other Red Roosters in the area.
Very disappointed.
Waited 15mins in the Drive thru behind only 3 cars. Chicken roll missing seasoning & chips burning hot outside but uncooked & cold on the inside.
A fast food resturant that brings out your food at minimum 30min after you place an order.avoid at all cost.
