Dennis the manager is not friendly at all and wasting our time to look for the term and condition of just 2 free pieces of fried chicken for joining their membership program and at the end he couldn't prove that he is right. But still insisted me to pay for the 2 pieces fried chicken on top of my order. It was very humiliating behaviour as a Restaurant Staff. Never come back anymore for sure

The Chips that I ordered were mostly black, the bread had black crust at the top, the tenders were dark brown and really hard, my drink that I asked for no sugar was the sugar version, the bag had black stains.honestly I think this store supports blacks too much because you might as well dip my food in black paint at this point

We ordered the Reds Hot Fried Chicken pack through the drivethru tonight, but when we got home and started eating, we realised they were not the spicy chicken pieces we ordered. So one of us had to go back to get what we ordered while the other stay home with the kids. When I explained the situation, they were only willing to give us 5 pieces as we have already started eating 3 of the pieces at home. I told them we only realised they aren't the spicy chicken when we were eating them! In the end they were willing to give us our 8 spicy pieces as we originally ordered. But this whole situation was terrible, now we are eating our spicy chicken pieces with cold soggy chips and cold mash/gravy! And the ordeal took over 30 mins of going back for the second time, explaining it and waiting for the chicken to be ready again! It isn't an enjoyable meal or experience with half of our dinner cold! The staff at the Ferntree Gully store wasn't even fully willing to give us the 8 spicy pieces of chicken even though it was their fault, & caused us time and doubling our trip! What they should have done is apologise, swap our WHOLE meal over so we can eat it ALL hot! Not happy Red Rooster, terrible service & very unsatisfied!

Food ok, but the shop was unbelievably hot inside the poor young people working there were really struggling, told me the aircon broken down! Well why dont the people who manage this place get it fixed & treat your workers with some respect shame on you whoever you are, GET IT FIXED.

Purchase two meals today via Drive Through. Mix up with the burger. Upon letting Tayla at the Drive through, she Sorted out and gave extra Chips. Tayla was super Pleasant and apologized for the mix up. Great Service.

Not sure if this is for Ferntree Gully, but this place is THE dirtiest most disgusting restaurant be it fast food or whatever, I have ever seen. It's 3.27pm 31/07/21

App don't work for that place well for me anyway. Tryed using it reinstalled it 3 times. Never had a problem with hungry jacks or kfc app. So don't know if it's me or you. But if it is you may want to fix it losing customers and all

The food is always fresh and tastes great. I only really use the drive thru and the only reason I don't give 5 stars is because I always have to wait a few minutes in the waiting bay for my meals to come out. I'm not fussed about it and it's never longer than a few minutes and it's a relativity small restaurant but it's something they could improve on. Otherwise I've always experienced very friendly staff so they seem to have a good working culture in there and it reflects on the quality of the food they deliver.

Always experience the finest customer service here, great hospitality through drive thru, and food is on point and fresh.

WARNING!

Either hopeless or trying to scam you, ordered total $18.45 showed seniors card new total $18.45 ask what? Apparently old total was $22 something ask how much items are chicken $12.95 nuggets $5 so $17.95, apparently no longer do seniors discount with promos anymore OK fine total $18.45 question again, turns out despite how they asked about sause it's not actually included in the price anymore, told them to stick the sause. Finally was able to pay the correct price for the food (note each time they would tilt the EFT machine so you can't see the price and I had to grab it to see)

Seriously hopeless customer service. The manager didn't even know about their own promotions and ended up overcharging me.

I occasionally feel like chicken and I normally get half chicken on a bed of chips, thats how it normally comes half chook and chips under. After trying to say what I always get and want the same as what I always order, they gave me a half chicken and a small chip on the side. That was bad enough but the chicken (i see cant post pictures here) came in a small box and I couldnt find me tape measure so I put my standard size wallet beside it and its about an inch longer. Something is going on, trying to slip tiny chickens out instead of normal size. Ill think twice before going there again, its only because its across the road from my work

Got takeaway and the food was absolutely top of the shelf fresh. Out of all the fast food gin joints, Red Rooter consistently serve up the freshest. They have a knack of making the food the others serve up look and taste like junk. It's usually always hot food too, which is something maccas in particular struggle with. How often we get home from maccas with our order and find it dangerously cold is really quite sad, we should know better by now.

Went for the 1st time in about 25 years, loved the chips, and the chicken was roasted to perfection

Everything thing was too expensive the price of a regular was the same price was a large at maccas

Excellent service from a young crew of staff. Food was ready im good time even though there were a few people for lunch.
