Rathdowne & Reeves Cafe

Thank you R&R Cafe! For bringing back so many childhood memories when I sit down and have my lunch. My drink I bought and the water Brough me back specifically! The staff recommended the scrambled eggs with spicy beans which were very good and reminded me so much of my grandma’s cooking! The chorizo reminded me also of my Spanish family’s cooking! As a migrant I am so glad to have a cafe that represents your heritage and bring my back home! Once again, I’m very thankful for this cafe.

This is an excellent cafe-meals and snacks are delicious- top quality ingredients are used with terrific personal touches like home made breads, pickles, sauces etc. Also, excellent coffee. Treena and Damian have gone out of their way to make a visit to their cafe always a great experience.

Super tasty and super awesome plating Love, love, love this little cafe in Carlton and will highly recommend it. Menu is stupendous. Perfect dishes - all made from scratch and are all super delicious. Serving portion is quite generous and filling.

Hands down the best breakfast I have ever eaten, and I don't even normally like scrambled eggs. If I live nearby I would be there as often as possible.

I have been getting poached eggs on toast for more than 10 years at various cafes. This is by far the best poached eggs I have ever had. The manager advised that they Sous Vide the eggs. Amazing result. Highly recommend you try them.

I go here everyday for my coffee. It’s the best! Service is excellent and friendly. Food is always on point. You won’t get a bad feed here. I love sitting outside in the shade on sunny days too.

A must place to try their Indian scramble. A beautiful dish paired with their signature chutney.their pear and ginger muffin is a delight too.lovely customer service.leaving feeling very satiated and a sure place to come again.

The middle eastern fried eggs and indian scramble were soooo goooood. Definitely recommend coming here for a quick bite and delicious chais

I had their tandoori chicken roll, and I am not the fussiest eager, but I struggled to finish this because it was so bad. I guess my appetite was not helped by the guy at the front cooking my food who was coughing with an open mouth.

The Aussie beef sausage roll is amazing! The homemade relish is the perfect cherry on top and there’s always excellent and friendly service! This is always my go to cafe ️

Cosy cafe with friendly and efficient service. Been before and it did not disappoint. Excellent coffee, exceptionally and beautifully presented food. Massaman beef was quite an experience, perfectly balanced flavour, mild in spice and loaded with tender cubes of beef. I also recommend the Canadian pancakes and the soy chai latte, just superb.
