Rapture Cafe

A terrible experience this morning at rapture. I tried to order a egg and bacon panini in the deal with a coffee I asked for an iced chai instead and they denied me the deal.
The iced chai was literally milk and a cheap chai mix stirred together leaving settlement at the bottom
The egg and bacon panini was dry and overcooked egg definitely not fresh
All this for $18.50
What a terrible start to a Friday morning

Tasty fresh home made food, great coffee. Don't miss the salmon patties just like nan used to make.

Good food. Friendly service.
Outdoor eating area got drizzled from the auto car wash next door.

The food was good, the cup for my drink wasn't in good shape, there was rubbish piled up outside and you could see it from the window where we were sitting.a few little details missing
To clarify the cups were scratched and dirty, why can't cafes have nice cups to serve tea in.

The first time I visited this cafe was 11 years ago, and to this day, it is just as good as back then. After so much time has passed I have great memories of rapture cafe. To this day I think about it and it’s amazing food. Let alone the amazing owner at the time. It is a wonderful cafe would 100% recommend going there if you’re in the area.

Very small portions for what you pay but good service and they listen to you. Very nice place

The food was nice but the wait time was too long. Not sure if they were forgotten about the order or what…

Despite its terrible location - next to a service station and opposite a cemetery - the food and coffee here are fabulous and the service is efficient and friendly. Definitely worth a visit. The muffins alone are worth a visit!

Coffees was good food looks good just had coffee. Doors kept blowing open which is a bit annoying

Great experience:) only negative was they didn't jot down my booking. One of the workers accommodated our presence. Delicious mega breakfast, kids actually ate their pancakes not just the ice cream they were that good. Kids liked the cafes play area with a variety of toys for the younger children.

Ordered a soy latte 10 mins later My Friend arrived and ordered her skinny. They Brought a normal latte to us. Then a skinny. Have them back still no soy. Ordered the salmon couldn’t eat it. Awful salad awful. No one checked on us. Too hot inside even though it wasn’t that hot outside. The salmon croquet was ALL POTATO wont be back

Had breakfast and coffee. Everything was great, this place had a great vibe and plus got a free muffin. 100 % recommended

Had a meal today at Rapture. Not sure if its changed hands or if the chef was having a bad day. Ordered Cornish pastie and salad. Pastie was lacking the usual flavour and when I broke it open, there was 2 pieces of potato, 1 piece of carrot and the rest mince. The salad was limb greens, some feta and olives. Kids menu has changed to nothing a kid would eat. Why swap the toasted sandwich for quesadilla? Brought out our desert/treats before our lunch? The meals use to be fresh, decent sized and mouth watering. There was nothing appealing about todays meal. On a positive note, the staff were very friendly and chatty.

Good coffee but toasties are not good- not even properly toasted. Felt like i am eating raw bread with raw fillings.

Great vibe, very friendly and helpful staff with a good selection of take away food and eat in menu.
I really enjoy my morning breakfast of scrambled eggs with spinach, mushroom and hash brown with a big cup of hot chocolate.

It was fine. Pleasant staff but we're super busy (under staffed?)
I had the Quesadilla (which was made with a green flatbread!) Which just ok. My friend had a filo pastry roll thing which she loved. My mango smoothie was huge and thick but had very little mango flavour.

We came here years ago and was unfortunately a bad experience, decided to try again and was pleasantly surprised, we have been back several times and will continue to visit.
The food is usually pretty good, they have a couch area which is nice if you just want to chat and have a coffee and close by is a children's play area. The play area could use a good clean and revamp but overall its a nice place to stop in. The staff are also always helpful and friendly:)

Loved this cafe. Very friendly staff, good atmosphere, good food choices. And they had a shade tent over the bike rack!

Always good service, friendly. Good service New owners have settled in well.

The best place to have a coffee and experience good homemade food. I discovered this cafe more than 7 years ago and since then it has been my favorite place.the reason is that my children are baristas and who better than them to realize that the coffee is of good quality, something that is very important, nobody wants to pay for a bad quality coffee but in rapture you can be sure the coffee and food is delicious with great customer service.
