Excellent traditional farm fun. It's weathered, it's old, it's great! Lots of paddocks and enclosures you can access with a wide variety of animals. It is way more affordable than other offerings. I would recommend bringing your own food, they do not have a Cafe.

Such a great place to visit. Our 3 year old daughter had a great time here. The staff are lovely and very helpful. The farm is very well maintained and so many animals to see. The tractor ride is great to see more of the farm. You get to feed all the animals, ride the ponies and hold rabbits. We spent about 2-3 hours here and really enjoyed our time. Hopefully be back soon to visit.

A lovely little place and you can tell the owners and staff love their animals and farm. My son was thrilled with being so up close to the animals.

Brilliant! If you are looking for a commercialised zoo or animal farm then look elsewhere.
A very family orientated business, yet with caring all round for animals and their visitors. Even the adults can get a lovely espresso now and in a China mug! Lots to do, to see and to be with.
We've even booked an annual family ticket to be able to see our grandchildren and others have fun whenever we want AND to be able to support them in these tough times.
Well done RH&S.

Such a great hands on farm. So many animals to get up close too and feed. My 18 month old had a ball petting and feeding all of the animals and even had a pony ride.
The actual farm is a little run down and needs a few upgrades and maintenance, it kind of adds to authentic farm feel.
Very relaxed vibe, bring lunch and snacks with you as there is no Cafe.
We really enjoyed the few hours we spent there and will definitely be back.

The Easter egg hunt was great. Split into younger and older kids so both girls had their own turn.
Rest of the farm was great, nothing fancy just a great family feel.

I had great time at Rain Hayne & Shine farmyard. The owner are really nice. Sue is so helpful and answered all the questions nicely. Her husband is so funny, always make a joke with us.

There are goats, sheep, donkeys, pony, piglets, bunnies, etc. We ride a horse, it cost $10 for 200m.ride. It’s good for someone who never experienced horse riding. They have pony ride for children. Truck riding is free of charge. We love the goats so much. They are so friendly, you can pat and hug them. I definitely want to go back to hug them again.

We hadn't been to Rain Hayne & Shine in a few years, and it's still just as awesome.

Great place for kids to interact, feed and pet various animals compared to the zoo style places which are more looking through cages.

The pony/horse rides are a good addition and something the kids really enjoyed, although it would be good if it was a little longer.

Can definitely recommend this place to a family/parents with young kids who want a casual and fun day that's low maintenance.

Great farm for young kids. We love coming here with our 18 month old. Going into the pens with the animals, holding guinea pigs and rabbits and her favourite: the tractor ride!

Amazing place to see some cute goats, sheep, chickens, pigs, cockatiels and cute animals. You can feed them lettuce and even enter into some of their pens!

Visited with my 4yo daughter. It was a good activity to do while we were on holidays in Balnarring.

The set up was good and lots of animals to see, feed and pet. Good signage indicating which areas were accessible and which were not. There could be a more obvious layout or path to follow so you know where to go and what to look at.
A lot of things were run down and not necessarily recently spruced up to look pretty for the visitors; but to me this reflects genuine farm life, so I liked it.
I thought it was reasonable priced considering the costs of running that type of place. Staffing was very light on, there was someone to take admission fees when we arrived but literally no one while we looked around. When we were leaving there were people arriving and no one working the ticket booth. So I guess it might be a little like an honesty system?
Overall a good little place to visit, especially if the kids love farm animals.

I came here last week, and with a client and he loved it. Tractor rides, feeding sheep, goats. Didn't go on any pony or horse rides, though there was that available if that's your sort of thing. Unfortunately some of the animals were mistreated by other customers there. Small enclosures. Cockatoos, peacocks, bunnies etc. İf you're looking for something close by in the area to do and with young ones, could check it out. Personally would only come as part of work.

Great fun for everyone. Kids will definitely love it. Only issue would be lack of staff. I not only waited for pony ride for my 2 yrs old but also the young guy from staff member looked exhausted and rushed for the ride as there was a queue of ppl waiting. He also did not care much about of the helmet is rightly placed especially when I asked him how to fix helmet on my toddler's head, he just said that will do! And helmet fell off twice during that short ride. I will definitely go back but may not go for pony rides.

I visited this place four years ago and returned with my grandkids this week.
Gorgeous animals, well cared for and the kids loved handling the kid goats, lambs etc.
My only problem was it has lack of staff. Waited for ages for the pony ride and tractor rides because there was only one young boy doing all the work and to busy.
Still a great place for little kids to play in the hay and experience farm life and old farm machinary etc.
