Railway Hotel

Parking on a Saturday evening was a shocker but dinner was very nice, even thou service was a tad slow but it was busy, so we were nicely patient. The environment was surprisingly quiet, so we could chat-on happily. Maybe next time I'd get there by the train if going at peak times.

Good place a few drinks, either during the week or weekend. Service downstairs is excellent and friendly; and given our drink order isn’t standard they do a good job remembering!

We popped into The Railway Hotel for lunch and I was impressed by the service and food. Staff were attentive and an extensive menu. A relaxed venue for a casual meal or drink. They have a rooftop bar as well.

I asked for medium rare and got rare. I nearly choked and all they said was "slow down or we'll kick you out"

One of the few places that have happy hours till 7PM on Thursday. Though spirits aren't included. The ground floor is quiet and felt sombre.but the top floor is where the crowd's at.

Pub meal was good.good area steaks a bit pricey.had steak sandwich which was okay.lasagne was a vegetarian gòod and filling.

Went in with my other who had serious allergies and the staff / kitchen were very attentive and accommodating. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. Can’t recommend highly enough for a good pub meal in a great setting. Thanks.

The service was second to none. Friendly, warm, professional and super sufficient. The food was fabulous and am definitely coming back for more. Highly recommend it.

I don’t like to give anyone a 2 star rating unless both the food and service falls below par. The dumplings were ok but the scallops were bland. The steak was was over cooked and the arrival of mains whilst entree plates were yet to be collected was surpassed by the waiter asking us to move them onto the empty table next to us. Just totally atrocious and at $150.00 for a pub meal (it wasn’t anything more than that) with some ordinary wine, it won’t be a place getting a second go for while.

Ate a nice meal in the pub section of the venue with colleagues and it was good value for money. Service was exceptional from the bar staff, food came out quickly which suited our business agenda. I'm looking forward to returning to try the formal restaurant area when I have more time. Feedback from friends and family has been outstanding.

Great venue in an interesting nich. Food very good.wine great but a bit pricy! Only negative is parking.a bit difficult. I am looking forward to spending more time at the Railway and surrounding area.

Good atmosphere, simple food, friendly staff.

This pub is located in prime position and has gone through major renovations. For lunch and dinner it is child friendly although Friday and Saturday nights you may want a baby sitter.

It’s perfect for a pre movie bite, or a big night out where you can watch the footy.

The 4/5 is more around the atmosphere, then the food. Meals were good but just reliable standard food, that you would go back for.

Parking is always an issue however you will find one eventually.

Great local venue for a pub feed and drink, the rooftop is a nice touch and great place for catch up drinks or pre drinks before a night out!

Recently renovated, great selection of different chicken Parma. Though the price might be slightly high for what it is.

It's a far cry from the days of the old Blarney with a great rooftop beer garden and a nice simple menu

Just a traveller passing through so who knows how many different outfits this joint rocks but midday lunch and beers in the rooftop was just the right gear for a Saturday arvo. Food was tasty for what is basically bar snacks. May well travel back this way soon.

Nice enough place with nice enough food and drink. Lovely rooftop area for sunny days. Pricing is at the higher end which is probably pushing it a bit

Awesome rooftop with a great vibe.but there's etiquette to running a bar & service, which is where a good business separates itself from the rest.
There's pouring a pint, and then there's working a bar.come on guys, such potential otherwise!

Place is nice, can’t judge the food though seeing as my companion has finished his meal and mine hasn’t even come yet haha

Great food at a quality price. Well located and buzzing mixed age crowd. Beautiful roof top terrance but book early!
