An amazing place for breakfast and brunch and just adjacent to Chapel Street. A foodie’s haven as well with less touristy crowd with many locals enjoying their daily meals while buying their groceries and organic produce. Great grilled cheese sandwiches, authentic German bratwursts and freshly made Boureks and Souvlakis to enjoy with the best cup of brewed coffee

Naheda's choice is the best dip I've ever gotten in my life and Naheda is the sweetest:)

The naheda’s choice store is the best place to go when adventuring the markets. They have delicious tasting tips and small bits.

We visited the Parhran Market on Tue. Quiet and peaceful, contrast with lively and actions of the South Melbourne Market.

We had a chicken and leeks pie ($8.50) and a German bratwurst with sauerkraut and onions bun ($13.09). Both were not great. The pie crust was thick and hard. The bratwurst and sauerkraut were not flavourful as we had expected. And I believed either the sauerkraut and/or the chilli sauce had given me trouble on my stomach.

However, my daughter was delighted to find the oysters were very fresh, and she tried 3 sources - Sydney (not to her liking), Tasmania and Coffin Bay (the best - tastiest, plump and well-balanced salinity). Overall, it was worthwhile to make a trip out from Central Melbourne. We bought from the shop selling samples of clothing from Pink Mink label at a steal. Happy, rewarding trip!

I come here for one thing: Naheda's Choice. They have the best dip and plenty of choices! Once you buy dip here, you’ll never buy store bought ones. I bring the dip to parties, work, etc.and it’s always a hit and pretty much gone an hour later. To top it off, the staff are all so sweet and you can try before you buy! If you go to Prahran Market, make sure you stop by!

Wish we would have this in Adelaide from the point of presentation and selections
Just a perfect shopping ground for groceries

Great inner suburbs market.
Has a great variety of stalls, I would definitely class this as a food based market with a couple of miscellaneous stalls.

The car park attached has plenty of space but would still suggest getting there before 10 on the weekends as it can get busy.

Pricing wise it is definitely more on the bougie side with some of the artisanal stalls having quite high prices, but still great quality so you get what you pay for.

Took a star off for the outside/toilet cleanliness, think they need to put more staff on on weekends as it was getting quite messy in the outside eating and toilet areas.

You can get basically what you need for groceries. I have finally found my favorite Dolce Latte cheese here. Thumb up!

One of the best markets in Melb.
The German sausages at Mr. Bratwurst are the highlight of our little market outings, always stop by when we come to shop.

Jasper coffee is also quite good if you need a fix.

Plenty of fresh produce about, there's delis tucked away with some good offerings in cheese and cured meats. There's also a garden stand out the front by the parking.

Overall a good time and fun experience. But I highly recommend the German BBQ, they always deliver and it's always great!

It's changed over the years, but in general they're quite expensive, the quality is there. Unfortunately doesn't fit in my budget for shopping, considering the cost of living has risen.

Good market, decent variety, but definitely not for the weekly shop - unless you are ballin.
Great if you are after some speciality foods.like a $184 a kilo Wagyu rump steak Huon branded salmon etc.but generally.there was maybe a 10-20% increase in the actual quality of fresh goods, but you are paying 50-100% more for the boujee vibe. Would go to a normal farmers market over this for the weekly shop

Blunt to razor sharp knives!

Best place to get your knives sharpened! Finished within an hour compared to others that takes days before you can pick it up.

An interesting market with a wide varied and cooked and uncooked food available. The market is generally quite tidy for the most part, and some of the cakes from here are delicious. Lots of fresh fruit stands and uncooked meats to take home, and there's generally something for everyone here.
