Pho Hung Vuong Saigon Restaurant reviews
61 An institution for years and years to come, surely.
Food is always fresh and quick - although the line to get in may take yonks!
I do always order the Bún bò Huế because it's rare to find a place that does it well, and with the even rarer congealed pig's blood cubes.
Great value for money too - win-win all around.
Almost impossible to get into around lunch on the weekends but well worth lining up for. Without a doubt the best pho in Melbourne. Great selection and ready so quickly it's unbelievable. I have easily eaten here 20 times and always had a great meal.
Delicious sliced beef pho. Customer service can be better but understandably under the pump due to a full house all the time.
Piss poor service.asked what jack fruit was because we were not familiar, they don’t care nor did they offer a solution or explanation. This place is only for Vietnamese people, if your western you’ll get better customer service else well where.
The short rude man with a tattoo on his arm needs a new job.smile and offer assistance. We are in australia and not in a back ally of Vietnam.
Never ever again from this place but a stone thrown away there’s a beautiful pho place who offer great service and food
DEFINITELY the BEST pho in Melbourne! They are ALWAYS busy any time of the day but packed around lunch and dinner. Be prepared to share tables and squeeze in between people. We love the rice paper rolls too!
It was my first time in this restaurant.while i went to pay on the counter, they said they only accept cash but i didn't have cash with me. I was in dilemma but this kind and clam lady sweetly asked me to cash-out money from ATM and come back. She actually trusted me that touched my heart. Food was really good but i couldn't finish it, should have order small portion. Thank you guys for such a warm hospitality.
Quite simply the best Vietnamese restaurant west of the CBD. Pho heaven and delicious crispy spring rolls, you just can't go wrong!
Still THE BEST PHO IN MELBOURNE!
love the broth, fresh slice beef, bean sprout, and mint leaves. Sausages are also good.
Fried spring rolls filled with pork is crunchy and fresh.
Place is always crowded no matter the time, but service is always quick.
Cozy and accomodating. Food is served quickly and taste wonderful. Food and drink selection is very specialized. Good for early weekend breafast
I ordered the brown sugar milk tea which was delicious and the aloe vera, also a decent choice. The staff are friendly, would have given a 5 star, but they didn't mention I could pay with Liven.
I still love this place. Always packed, always superior quality and super fast. Try the grilled chicken!
Food came in large portions and was flavorful. However, the rice vermicelli dishes was very heavy on the noodles and light on the meat and veggies. Tasty, but disappointing on the portion. 3/5
Cleanliness was abysmal. There were noodles and vegetables all over the floor and it was sticky at some points too. Not sanitary and shocking that staff didn’t notice. 0/5
Service was alright. Not amazing but not the worst either. 3/5
Overall would probably get takeaway if I was craving some Vietnamese cuisine but wouldn’t dine-in.
Certainly lives up to it ‘being the best’ not just in the west but whole of Melbourne. Generous portion sizes. Worth your time. Don’t go anywhere else. The sliced chicken is cooked fresh and hasn’t been sitting around and it’s lean. The sliced beef is a good quality and isn’t grainy. The spring rolls are not baby fingers size.
Dont get why this restaurant is so busy? ! The waiter was so rude and the food doesn’t taste authentic at all. The Pho Ga came out really warm and no taste to it: (
Don't accept cash, but can afford a ATM machine in the store. The cash out fee is +$ 2.9. Poor customer service.
Although the 'best' Pho in Footscray, it is pretty standard in taste/flavor.
Service is ok although rude at times
You can get a really good pho in here. And the best one is the grilled chicken as not that many places do this. The other things that great in here is the free onion pickle. That really enhance the flavours of the food significantly.
You must love it.
Hot soup with noodles
Tasty foods
Clean and friendly staffs
Valued price.
You need to wait for lunch or dinner time.
Otherwise, you come at 11am for lunch and 5.30 for dinner. You should bee fine.
Perfect bowl of hot goodness for a winter night! Great portions of beef and noodles. Very affordable at $17 for a huge bowl
Better Pho than ones I had in Vietnam. Busy, bustling place with really tasty food. Love the way this place is always full of ppl and busy yet staff are very attentive.not friendly yet not offensive!:)
