There’s Pho and then there’s Pho. This place is definitely the latter.
Considering it’s always packed with Vietnamese locals every time I’ve eaten here, you can easily infer that this little restaurant delivers the best bowl of hot noodle goodness in all of Footscray.and for good reason.
Sensational flavours, generous portions, reasonable prices. What more do you need?

Love this place! You know that you are onto the real thang when 1) hordes of Asians are slurping noodles at 11: 30am 2) they only do one thing there: chicken or/and beef pho, no spring rolls no nothing fancy 3) there herbs are super fresh.

I had their pho tai nam which is rare beef and brisket noodles while kiddo had the chicken and beef combo, both delish. Will be back again

Come here with Vietnamese and Thailand friends. Its quite busy place bcs of customers. Its easy to find this small cozy restaurant. Phở is extremely good. It can make u full mounth of water. Beef is also delicious too. U should try Phở Tái because it is special dish in Viet Nam. Handmade chilly sauce is tasty and go well with Phở. Beanroot is sweet when combining with Phở even better.
For me, Phơ Chú Thể may be the best Phở in Melbourne in comparison with Phơ Thìn which is also famous in VN

Place isn't super clean but it's not that kind of place.

Food is great but cleanliness is the only reason it doesn't get 5 stars from me.

I come to eat my favorite beef and chicken combination pho when I back to Melbourne every time. I like the soup is clear with light taste. By the way, don’t forget to taste the iced black or white coffee.

Possibly the best most authentic Vietnamese pho noodles place in Melbourne. The beef is fresh and of good quality. To a newcomer, the soup may seem a bit on the strong side. However, after a few mouthful, you are hooked.
