Rude and insolent old man who micromanaged everything and pushed you to buy on the first try.

I was accorded excellent service on this occassion by Abdul who was most helpful with the fitting and even referred me, accompanied me and introduced me to a tailor called Hoang on Mcillop street (opposite PJ) who altered my suit to fit to my liking.

They have a good selection of suits, shirts, ties, some shoes and other accessories.

Highly recommend

Needed to buy my first suit so went in with no idea what I was doing. I had nothing to worry about though as I was greeted with the expertise of Michael who guided me through the process and helped me the whole way and provided impeccable customer service.
He clearly knows what he is doing and could size me up just by looking at me.
Prices were fair, I'm no suit expert but the quality seems to be top notch so I was happy to pay what I paid. They were even having a sale so most of what I ended up purchasing was discounted.
I even came back the next day to purchase a pair of shoes. Thank you again to Michael and crew for the amazing service and assistance!

Terrible customer service, if there is any.

The old man was very impatient even though he didn't actually serve me.

He asked what I wanted, and I was asking for a gray suit. He simply pointed the rack and asked me to look at them myself. Didn't find the right colour after a few minutes and was about to leave. He then suddenly jumped in and flipping a few gray suits with rolling eyes and said very abruptly: "this is gray! This is gray and this is gray! " as if I was blind or dumb. Then gave me a terrible look and walked away. It was rediculous. Nice logic. Does it mean you will marry any random woman just because they are woman?

Out of courtesy I said "thank you" when walked past him on my way out, even though there was nothing to be thankful for. And he rolled his eyes again and simply ignored me.

Very poor customer service - if that counts as service.

Having already come highly recommended, I walked into the store with very high expectations and was definitely not let down. Abdul is attentive, insightful and ruthless in the application of his knowledge.

Every interaction with Abdul will re-assure you and alleviate you of any doubts.if you’re like me and need your wedding party sorted but are having trouble executing, give Abdul a call and let the wizard work his magic.

Oh and special mention, the groomsmen wanted to practice their wedding entrance in the suits, to test their mobility; without missing a single beat, Abdul went to directing the scene and getting everyone in place, and eventually joining in!

Thank you for the impeccable service Abdul, if I could give you more than 5 stars, I would.

If I could give 0 stars, I would.it was the most disgusting experience in the last few years. We came there to check the size for suit and shirt, because our employer asked for this, so that they can buy it without us. The staff was aware about it. Everything started very nice and positive. Then we said that we should make a picture, so our employer can check it and buy. After that, their customer service has gone. The old man, who was helping us, became extremely unfriendly. He was walking around and repeating how terrible we are, because we've spent his time and didn't buy anything. We asked him to put away tiles so we can buy it now, for ourselves, but he just went to another customer. Very rude and unprofessional.

Visited this store not long ago.
Best service I have ever had from a retailer. Old fashioned service with the upmost care and professionalism.
I popped in not really knowing exactly what I wanted and walked out very happy with a new suit. Dan was genuine and went the extra mile without being pushy. If you need something for a special occasion I highly recommend this store.
Ask to see Dan. He was exceptional.

Rang Bourke Street store to inquire about a jacket to purchase- was told "I am busy ring up other stores". Interesting customer service.business must be awesome.

In need of some new suits, I checked out Peter Jackson's Bourke Street store around the corner from work. I was warmly greeted by Michael who instinctively knew my size to the centimeter. Polite, knowledgeable and genuinely excited for his customer, I was able to put together a high-quality, very reasonably priced wardrobe. I was never rushed and I had a lot of fun in the process. Michael's colleague, Abdul, even repaired my old coat on the spot, free of charge. I didn't ask for this to be done, he offered; all after offering to run down the road to a neighbouring store to get some shoes I was after. I've since passed the word on to friends and one of them told me this was the shop he goes to. I'm not surprised, that's what happens when you go above and beyond. Thanks again Michael and Abdul.

I had a rubbish experience from Dan, at the Bourke Street, Peter Jackson store. I had bought 2 items online that were too large. I phoned to see if the store had my size in stock. When Dan picked up the phone, he rudely told me that they didn't have the stock (I checked with another store and they told me Bourke Street did have my size.) And that he was very busy and didn't have time to speak to me then hung up the phone. I was very disappointed as a paying customer by this poor experience. At a minimum, I would have expected Dan to have said he was busy, taken my phone number and called back later to assist.

Abdul went above and beyond to sort out the wedding party even as he was closing. Highly recommend. Sam, Michael and myself very happy with his service 7/5

I had a great experience shopping at the Bourke St store. Abdul was very helpful, he made buying my suit very easy and dare I say it - fun!

I needed to get a suit for a wedding quickly (because I had waited for too long before purchasing one) and Suit Shop totally solved my problem! I walked in and got measured by Abdul (who was wonderful!) and I was able to get a suit off the rack that fit perfectly, the only alteration needed was hemming for the pants.

Wonderful shop and team. Big props to Michael helping me get a suit together for a wedding in short time and even sorting out the tailor nearby and had the alterations done in a couple hours.

All round great experience. Thanks Michael and PeterJackson.

Abdul went above and beyond to make our experience at Peter Jackson Menswear wonderful! His eye for detail was impeccable and we couldn’t be happier with his service.
