The food was delicious. We had quite a few staff serve us and they were all fantastic except for one. The staff was either not very well trained or did not realised he was coming across very rude. That said I would not hesitate to visit again. The service, drinks and food was really good overall.

Dash made it the best experience. He had great service and such good vibes.

Great place. Food: excellent. Beverages: Great (though I'll have to come back to work my way through the craft beers on offer).

We had a group booking.
Great atmosphere, eggplant chips is a must to share.
Mains - Home paste cook perfectly.
I had the Duck.favours were lovely.
Pizzas were perfect, could not fact the dough well done.crush just right.
I would highly recommend it for your next get together or family meal.

One of my favourite bars in Melbourne. We were able to go here Tuesday night for a quite drink, and the atmosphere of the place is second to none.

Friendly staff, great pizzas and cocktail jugs. Live entertainment enjoyed on a Sunday evening over dinner. Will definitely be back.

Penny Young is a fun restaurant with hang out. Food delicious and reasonable serving. Cocktails creative and delicious. Reasonably priced. Staff were lovely and helpful. This is a ‘must go’.

Brilliant food, nice drinks, friendly staff. Food comes out really quicky which is amazing. It's all very well priced too. I will come back often.

My only gripe is (and why this review isn't 5 stars) is because they don't have a coffee machine. A nice coffee after a gorgeous dinner with desert would be perfect.

I recently had my 30th birthday at Penny Young.
Robert was fantastic through the whole process, from booking to organising food and drinks/bar tab to everything on the night.
Liv who looked after us all night was also wonderful and happy to help with anything! Nothing was a problem for either of them.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for a fun vibe and space for any event!

Had a wonderful time and lost my keys here. Staff were very supportive in helping me retrieve them. Turns out they were zipped up in my bag all along - anyway, apologies for the brief inconvenience, hope this five star review makes up for it. Well deserved. Would recommend the cocktail jugs

From the beginning I only went there for a drink. Just had a chance to try food this week and it amazing. Why it took me so long try to find good pasta in mooneeponds when this place offer but I never give it a try. Price point is good compare to other places with the same quality. Will definitely go back more often eveytime I feel like crab pasta

First time here. Incredible! The food and drink is top notch. The bar manager is incredible! If you had a business he’s the person you would want.

Great atmospheric, service and food. Gnocchi a delight, arancini so easy to eat, great pizza base.

Do I really have to give one star at all? Obviously, the place has changed hands since I was last there, & the difference is massive. The innovative & ever changing craft beer selection has dropped off to almost nothing in favour of pseudo mainstream alternative beers - ie Furphy etc. What a sell out to CUB.

Nice place for beer and smoke. Also dinner! The food is great with the variety of beer to choose from. Weekly gathering place for the boys
