Peninsula Hot Springs reviews
73I love this place but it's becoming too busy! It used to be so tranquil and now I'm finding every single pool to be full and noisy. Such a shame
Good place very earthy. Sometimes busy sometimes quite best Tuesday Wednesday Thursday evenings
They didn't have enough lockers available! It was 8 of us and we could only get 1 locker. We were told we could leave our bags in the picnic area!
Every part of this beautiful place is worth the visit! Hire towel robes on the way in, purchase clay from reception and purchase the revitalise package (whole day pass) so you have enough time to truly unwind. 110% recommend!
It's good value to spend $30 (1hr) to experience lots of pools especially the cold one. The design of park is good, you can try the different temperatures and equipment in here. The view is nice especially on the hill top. The private lock is costed $8. But sometimes you can't escape lots of people in one pool.
Amazing experience, however me and my partner went here for the first time and no one showed us where everything was (locker rooms, changing rooms, bathing places, etc) we were lost for the first 45-50 min finding everything. Our check in was at 6pm and 10 pm was our checkout time. It took 1 hour in total including check in and finding everything. Therefore we only had 3 hours remaining to experience the whole place. Please give a tour or atleast a tour guide to new comers! It would help alot.
Great place to relax with a variety of pools and views.
Can get fairly busy, and the access to just the pools is either an hour or all day. The ideal amount of time is around two hours, and it's a shame that isn't an option without spending heaps of money.
Still an excellent place to go to relax.
Arrived at the Hotsprings about 1: 30pm, was only informed around 4: 30pm that they were closing at 5pm and eventually had to rush our afternoon snack and quickly shower.
Although their websites states opening hours are 7am-10pm, we were not informed via email or management about the short closing time for Saturday 13th Nov, even the indoor signs stated 7am-10pm. If we would have known about the changed hours that day, we would have arrived earlier, I can accept the price for the robes and entry being for a full day, not for 3 hours! Would double check their website and call before leaving to make note of opening/closing times for the day, as I drove 1.5 hours from Melbourne.
Spent a few hours in the Spa Dreaming Centre and had a 60 min massage, it was perfect, highly recommend it! The staff was lovely and helpful and all the different baths are amazing. The pizzas are good too if you ever get out from the baths for a cheeky lunch break!
What a wonderful place. There are lots of places to relax, the views a grate. Water is clear and not smelling of sulphur. Food and service is excellent. Highly recommended.
A very beautiful place to visit on the Mornington Peninsula. We were there more than once, always experiencing some updates. Love the sauna section. Now there are glamping sites to stay and bath for the couples overnight. So happy to come back any time. Actually as the water is really hot, moderate or cold weather temperatures give you an even better experience.
Always like going here. The only down side is the food there. You get little for your money and limited choices.
But all in all I will always go back there.
Hated it / Loved it! Some things are great and some not so great. Will i visit it again and pay so much money? NO. Not for a crowded public pool with warm water. The concept and the location is great. You have to walk around a lot (not ideal in flip flops though). We took the weekday getaway package for 2 people which gave us access to all bathing. The bathing experience itself is relaxing but it was so crowded even for a weekday. Had to wait long turns to get into at least one bath. The rooftop bathing is a joke as it says 6 people only at a time and there is a long waiting line. Forget getting in there in time. Secondly the temperatures displayed were somehow mis matched with the actual temperature of water. The hotter pools were actually colder and the colder pools were boiling to 48 degrees which was particularly annoying and some of the guests complained about that. The staff is actually nice and polite. The cafe provides some food and drinks. The vegan platter was just fine. The locker system is great. The bathrooms were over crowded therefore not much cleaning was happening and the floors were slipping wet. The closing time is 5pm so from a time slot of 1: 30 to 4: 30 we hardly did any bathing and paid a steep price for only crowds, walking and waiting around.
Been here a few times and it's always been delightful. Also, adding the new sauna world was a great improvement. It's a must visit for everyone coming to Melbourne.
Love this place so relaxing, any pain it goes away, great place to catchup with friends, hens night, girls day or boys, so many bathes to choose from.
My favourite place to be, so relaxing! It’s wonderful experience every visit.
Cafe doesn’t have much to offer unlike the photos online, so I recommend you eat before you visit.
I went along for a special anniversary expecting to be a bored follower, but as soon as we got in the first pool I was a convert.
Think of every bath cut short by the water going cold, this is like all of them combined.
Absolutely delightful day out. The Springs were wonderful, warm with plenty of options & different set ups within the park
Weather was great being overcast and no rain. Not crowded as it was a weekday so had a great time. Nice to be able to bring on own picnic refreshments.
I have been to the hot Springs several times and now have 2 gift vouchers which I would like to spend. Online bookings don't accommodate paying using gift vouchers and several phone calls ended without speaking to anyone. I then did as phone message told me I sent an email to info@. No reply after a day and a half.
Pity as everything about this business use to be great.
