PappaRich Highpoint

Food was cold and the wat dan hor noodles had too much starch in the gravy, whole sauce was so lumpy. Kaya toast was cold as well when arrived, bread also tasted oily as they probably toasted it on the same flat grill that they fry the roti because all you can taste is fried oil overpowering any kaya or butter taste. The rest of the meal I had was just disappointing. Better Malaysian restaurants at similar price range in edgewater or flemington. The only good thing about papparich was probably a young Asian girl that worked really hard as I noticed she tried so hard to do everything by herself while the other workers seemed slow and lazy.

Extremely disappointed. I visited the store but it was not opened yet. When I asked what time they're opening, I was told they will open at 11am. As it was already 10.54am, I decided to wait with my 3 little kids. However, when I returned at 11.04am I was told that they are still not open yet because the kitchen is not ready.

My 10 mins was just wasted on nothing as I could've gone to somewhere else to purchase my takeaway. It's a Saturday and for a restaurant to not open at the time that was stated is not acceptable.

Dined in for the first time and i asked for extra plates, the waitress gave us dirty plates with oily fingerprints on it so we politely asked for new ones. The older waitress lady with red short hair aggressively approached us and demanded that they are clean. She then offered us different plates with her hands all over it. Customer service was terrible.

Ordered nasi lemak beef rendang which cost $17.90. The meal came out luke warm, had the smallest amount of fried anchovies, thinnest slices of cucumbers and half a serving of rice on my dish. For this price, I was very disappointed. I compared my rice portion with my friend's rice portion, and asked the waitress if I could please get a full serving of rice. A few moments later, an intimidating looking man stands over my table and stares at my dish - didn't even introduce himself or ask a question. Just stood there. I asked who he was to which he responded he was the chef. I told him about my dish and he rudely said that's how the dish is and was extremely defensive. I was very upset at this point, so I didn't bother about the small side portions. He walked off on me, then came back with a serving of rice. Besides that, I couldn't order the soft serve teh tarik dessert as they had no boba. The front of house staff was friendly enough, but this experience has really shook me. If you want to spend $17.90 and avoid bad service, you'd be better off going to Dumplings Plus next door. Other PappaRich stores are great, but I won't be going back to PappaRich Highpoint. If you want Malaysian at Highpoint, just go to Roti Road instead.

The food was good. Deffinately more quantity if you dine in, take away you get ripped off. Another thing please when you fill the sauces container fill it up a little more than quarter full it's not gold it's sauce.

Foods were blend. Been to Malaysia many times but not even better than street food over there. Plus bad management of the front. Some of the food on the menu weren’t available and did notice us, so we had to wait to choose another meal. Not coming back for sure.

Came to Paparich at Highpoint today and ordered fried chicken skin I have had this multiple times in CBD but this time is very disappointing. The chicken skin was overcooked the colour of the food was burnt and the service was terrible staff name Annie! Never again!

Guys if you want great customer service speak to Sanori, she is fantastic, very on the ball, she helped me with a ongoing concern of constant mistakes and missing items when i order through UBER EATS. Sanori is so friendly and helpful, resolving my issues. Management really needs to look at promoting that gal.

The most terrible customer service ever from the woman with short hair. She was very aggressive and demanding when I was asking for help.

I come every week after work to eat at pappa rich and the customer service hasn’t been on point and food takes long but today there was a little guy who served me and he treated me with respect and the food arrived quickly so I’m really happy with his service

Don’t bother coming here if you’re hungry. Despite skeletal patrons, took an hour for a piece of roti to be delivered. Arrived cold.

Very exciting to have lunch with my friend’s at papparich Highpoint. The food came out cold and the chicken crispy is burn. Not recommended at Highpoint papparich and the staff name Annie is so rude and bad services. We never come back there again.

The new owners are really stepping up the game. I went there during the busy hours and had the Hot sambal Kangkung with the chicken rice because of the cold weather. There was a bit of wait but the food was delicious and definitely worth the wait! The front staff was always smiling and very welcoming. 10/10 for service, food and view. I’ll definitely be coming back with a few more of my friends!

Horrible experience. Inattentive staff. Food was cold. 2 dishes were served immediately and the other 3 dishes came almost 20-30 minutes later which is completely unacceptable. All dishes flavourless bland rubbish. Don’t waste you time with this restaurant.

Would definitely come again to dine in as me and my friend thoroughly enjoyed ourselves being there. Had fantastic knowledgeable front service. The food given was absolutely great nothing to complain about. For sure will come again!:)

Wow second time this week was amazing new management is on point we are now regulars Anne great service and the new owner is amazing easily best paparich in town great Malaysian cuisine do your self a facour and check them out. All smiles

I really miss Malaysian Pan Mee. I tracked down the taste of home here. The food is delightful. The glow and kind hospitality of the servers made me feel closer to home. Those who have dissatisfied, I can just say that it very well might be your bad day or you are picking bones in the egg. I'm exceptionally happy with their food and services. It seems like I will end up being a regular customer here soon.

But suddenly the older staff really rude to me and my friends for no reason, she shushing me using her 2 finger's when I asked her if I can borrow 2 empty bowl.

A little disappointed today, bought 7 Nasi Lemak Bungkus from your Highpoint outlet and there sambal and ikan bilis is too little, not at all proportionate to the rice. I’m happy to accept the $1 price increase in fact happy to pay $7.50 but the contents need to be sufficient. Please do something about this. Thanks

This is my second visit to Highpoint PappaRich. Drove an hour with my family just to come here because of the food. Can't get enough of the Char Kway Teow! The Chicken Laksa was also very filling. We came when it wasn't very busy so the food came out quickly. The staff were extremely nice as well. One staff member in particular (I think her name was Jia) was so nice and attentive. I'm usually a picky eater but I was very satisfied during both of my visits. Will definitely recommend to my friends!
