PappaRich Highpoint

The reason why brought us here was I was attracted by the tiny environment, I love the sharp clean atmosphere and certainly it is!
Also easy access to the outside of the shopping mamallgood spot for taking a break.

Attentive staff, quick service and clean interior. Highly recommended for next lunch / dinner outing

Very nice all the servers were very kind and polite and food was delicious but the food quantity was less.

If you’re Malaysian, this papa rich restaurant in Highpoint will disappoint you. The food is not up to standard! The service is ridiculously slow! The time I was there with my family, is quiet and not busy at all. We order 2 roti canai, only one came without sauces. The other roti canai arrive after 15 minutes. Is this a joke? And The roti canal is not fluffy and small for $9.50 with just curry sauce. And other meals came after 30 minutes +…Very disappointed! The main problem with this place I guess is poor management and without proper cooks and trained service Person. I hope the management and the Franchisees do something about it. With this kind of service, this place will not last long.

BEST Papa Rich EVER
If you’re missing KL and you’re near Highpoint, You need to come in for a Iced Milo and a very essential Nasi Lemak. I still haven’t been back to KL.

A great addition to the chain of tasty Malaysian (with Chinese influence of sort) food!

This site is nestled comfortably with outdoor seating available! Orders usually take around 20 or so minutes, so if you wish, you can do some quick grocery shopping at the fruit & veg shop right next to it (if you’re early)!

The food is tasty, although could have slightly larger portions, which is why this review is 4 stars.

I recommend you visit this place if you’re out of dining options!

I love papa rich dishes and am glad they set up a branch at high point. Their dishes are of good quality for the price and they have such a great variety despite being an express branch!

We love so many of their dishes
- chicken rice
- Nasi lemak
- wat tan hor
- crispy noodles
- char kueh teow
- curry chicken noodles

One caveat is like most Malaysian cuisine, their dishes are very heavy on the carbs. Yummy nonetheless!

Do not recommend. If you want to try paparich best option is to go to the one in the city. I ordered mi goreng noodles it came sogged in oil and they gave me a very small amount it was bizarre, also not as flavourful. I had the same dish the day before at the papa rich in qv and it was amazing!

The best malaysian restaurant by far in Melbourne. The sambal is definitely very authentic. Their fried chicken was cooked well and tasty. Everything is just perfect! Customer service is great, very friendly staff. Premises is really clean. Will be coming back soon!

I really was so exited before ordering the food. But that thriving was there untill entering in the restaurant. As i entered the staff on the service seems very new and neither smile or neither welcoming behaviour i can see. While waiting have come across some of the staff one of them was a very old lady cleaning the tables, really loved her charming towards the customers, treating everyone with smile and checking back with the food such a wonderful lady. There were some of the younger ones which of them seems like needy in job neither they like their job nor they treat the work with respect not even towards customers. Finally food was brought by the old lady. The taste of the food was really soo bad can really smell the rawness. We couldn’t even had one fourth of the food, it was that bad and my friend just took a bite and left it as it came out. Imagine how the food tasted. The two starts was just only for the lady who served us and treated us well. It was really a very bad experience.

Very polite and respectful staff.
However, the basic lemak bungkus was a little overcooked, and the Ilan bilis was a little soggy.

Hainanese chicken rice was decent, thoug.

Not much option like other papa rich franchises
Ordered fried rice noodles. The chicken taste like it’s off.

Worst papa rich in the entire country. Indians cooking Malaysian food. They have ruined it. I’m not sure if there was a recent change in ownership to this franchise, it really is that bad.
Food so bad I wouldn’t feed it to my dog.
Chicken from weeks ago heated in a microwave and served up.
Vegetables rotten and browning.
Soup based dishes tasted like toilet water.
Chef and staff not following food and hygiene standards.
Our mouths felt like a sewer for the entire day.
About the only good thing was the elderly Asian lady who was really working hard and was friendly.

Dissapointed with Highpoint Paparich. It took forever for them to serve us and they’re not that busy. Will never return! We’re family if 5.

Hi everyone I would like to share my experience which is different but important. I always love eating in PapaRich the staff were good and kind.but the most disappointing part was that the chef working in the kitchen was easily seen from the tables and he had his shirt button open halfway It was most disgusting to view and unhygienic to eat as his chest hair were seen and food was being cooked. I can understand it was a hot day but I didn't feel like eating my lunch that day.

One of the dishes came out cold (chicken mince), crispy wonton and egg noodles, so we had to ask the waitress to microwave it for us. Flavours otherwise was okay.

I loved it so much! The flavours, texture and everything was top tier about this dish. I got char kway teo and it was delicious, it came out so quickly and had an instant aroma! The smell made it feel like home. It was a fairly sized portion for the price and was warm. 10000/10 would eat again! Thank you to the kind staff who served me.

Food was bad. Service was average. Ordered and paid for an item and when it came to our table it was missing an item, they said they were out of stock. Amazed why this wasn't mentioned when I paid for the food. Food was dry and cold. Pappa rich wasnt this bad from my memory, must be just this franchise.

The food was fine in the end but order was incorrect twice.our meals came out at different times so my friend had finished her meal before I even received mine, which was incorrect and then had to wait longer for it to be corrected.
