Paper Scissors Rock Brew Co reviews
62Great staff amazing atmosphere and even better beer. I feel like when you go to the grampians there are two must do's. The pinnacle and paper scissors rock
My wife had the lamb cutlets and I had (some of her lamb cutlets) and my Greek salad. I'm sure there must be an emoji of shlurping, kicking of lips that would be appropriate to use, but I am past the age where that would be acceptable. However, they both sure we're tasty! Nice modern surroundings, good service, simple and uncomplicated place to eat. I do recommend.
Fantastic beers, food was some of the best I’ve had in Australia! - which is the last thing you’d expect in such a remote place. Come to Halls Gap if you’re doing the GOR and contemplating calling it quits at 12 Apostles, come to this place, and just let the scenery and wildlife draw you in. Awesome. 5*.
Today we had coffee and dessert.
The coffee was beautifully made with no bitterness, just a smooth rich brew.
The Blueberry Frangipane Shortbread Tart with Lime Curd & Crème Fraiche was spectacular. The perfect balance of sweet and tart.
Enjoyable Sunday afternoon session. Tasting paddles are a great way to try out what’s on offer. Staff were very thoughtful and held the door open for us as we made our way out with our drinks.
Popped in for a late lunch one arvo (a few months ago admittedly) but was so pleasantly surprised with the beautiful menu! A busy place, but prompt service. Will definitely visit again when next in Halls Gap!
Good brews, really good food, coolest place in town, except for the AC. Figuratively cool, climatologically not so. Nice mountain (sort of) town brewery.
Huge selection of craft beers and great choice of food to go with it. Great place for a lunch time beverage. Highly recommended
Great selection of beers on tap, love the challenging things on the menu, missing the chicken bfc though.
Original menu, great taste! Portions are good to share or order more variaty from this great menu. We especially enjoyed the pork belly bao buns. Friendly staff and nice location. Would come back every time!
I had the Tuscan salad, my hubby the lamb cutlet and were shared the burrata. The veggies/greens were super fresh and we thrilled with our lovely light meal. Strongly recommend.
We had a great lunch here, nice atmosphere with beautiful views of the Grampians. All 4 dishes we ordered to share were beautiful in presentation and flavour. Was hard to choose just four dishes from the interesting menu. Prices were reasonable for the quality of the food and the serving sizes. Was a nice bonus to have their beer available to try. Great service. Will be back.
Had the mushroom arancini and they were so delicious, full of flavour and crunchy with nice onion relish.
This place is really nice, we came in for some food and was really pleasantly surprised with quality and size for price. I will say the Arancini balls are amazing but if you’re expecting a meal a little on the small side, maybe a salad to go with it wouldn’t go too far astray just to get your fill a little more! But all in all service and food was lovely
8 beers on tap tasted, all excellent. Choosing the best one would be akin to choosing your favourite child. The food here was excellent and came out ridiculously fast. My partner had the Thai beef salad which was full of flavour and I had the po boy which was a little bit on the messy side but totally worth it. A must-visit gem in Halls Gap.
Ordered the slow cooked beef cheek and wild mushroom Arancini and it was so good I forgot to take photos. The beef melted in my mouth and the Arancini had great flavour. Will definitely come back!
Spectacular food and great house brewed beer.the galaxy pale ale hits the spot.
Highly recommend the chicken breast and lamb back straps
Great beer and chicken with cheese waffle was delicious. My wife had lamb backstrap was very good.
Definitely recommend

Very busy tonight but the staff maintained their cool, providing tasty food & beverages and service with good humour.
We make a point of drinking beer all over the world and regularly go to breweries and tours in the UK - home of the craft brew revolution!
This brewery is by far one of the best we've ever been too and I would highly recommend a visit to 'paper scissors rock brew co. '
Particularly recommend 'Stone Cold Hazy' and 'Integalactic' if on tap and the stout 'Dark Vader' It's one of the nicest I've ever drunk! 5*
