Paper Scissors Rock Brew Co reviews
62Food quality is incredible, fresh and large portions that will definitely leave you with a full tummy. The prices are very reasonable and the service is very welcoming, hard to find these days. All the food we had was amazing
Fantastic brewery. The chicken burger and beef and ale pie were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend.
Such a cool vibe. The burgers really nice here. I'm not a beer person but My partner is, so I tried the mango one and it was nice, considering I don't like beer.
Highly recommended this restaurant at the hallsgap. The fried chicken burger was scrumptious. The fries also were fresh.coffee was great too. Starter the mushrooms with cheese are my fav.staff are friendly.
We really enjoyed the sirloin strip steak on flatbread, lovely grilled flavour in the meat and a pleasant mustard style sauce. The fried calamari rings were a bitter disappointment. 99% where fried batter rings with the tiniest slither of squid, I had one ring where I could actually taste the calamari and it read nice. So my rating is badly affected by that experience. Eating fried batter made me feel ill and at $28 that's not acceptable. On a good note the Dark Vader beat was great,
*Highly recommend for one of the best most affordable feeds in Halls Gap*
My goodness, I have been to many a brewery in my time and had many a feed out and has had its ups and downs, but HANDS DOWN, one of the best feeds I ever had in my life, I've forgotten the exact name but if you see steak on flatbread, do yourself a favour and treat your tastebuds! The current chef is worth his weight in gold, excellent staff and service, and the beers are on point! Probably gonna go back tonight, I'd be happy to eat there every night!
No joke it was so good I had to thank the chef himself, I and everyone I was with were so satisfied!
Discovered the brewery when looking for gluten free food and found it’s great menu with many gluten free options. The gluten free squid rings were delicious, as was the (not required to be gluten free) pork spring rolls and the bruschetta. A pot of ale with our food topped off a wonderful lunch.
Came in for some dinner, got the lamb spring rolls which were so good, dangerously good, chicken burger and pasta which was always very very good.
Love the wide selection of in house beers and the t-shirts which I got a few of because they look super cool. - Josh
Went for dinner and ordered the pasta which was very very delicious. - Bella
We will be back today to grab a few beers as gifts for friends at home (Geelong)
The designs are really cool we both love the work keep it up - Josh & Bella
A surprise find in Halls Gap. Had a entree then a main with a few beers. Food and beer rather good. Enjoyed my brief visit.
Super fast and yummy food, nice and warm escape from the chilly temps of Gariwerd, staff are super helpful and efficient staff!
Really impressed with the service here. Food and drinks were nice and the atmosphere was great for a relaxed meal. Definitely worth a stop if you are in Halls Gap.
Average.staff said grab a seat be with you in a minute which after 20 min went back up and was served.
Tried beer tasting paddle and not sure if they are supposed to be flat and by flat I mean not one bubble.
Drank 2 out of the four.
Wouldn't go back sorry
So great! We went back for lunch the following day too, that’s how much we liked it.
Great beer, delicious food at reasonable prices, excellent service even when packed, and a really comfy ambience. We wish this place was around the corner from our home, we’d be there once a week.
Just wow! Not only is the view amazing, the staff wonderful but the food - particularly the Roasted pumpkin, beetroot and cashew salad with added goats cheese was ABSOLUTELY TO DIE FOR!
Thank you so very much Halls Gap. I will definitely return to Paper, Scissors, Rock Brewery. A+ guyses
Great atmosphere, plenty of pale ales and the food is great! Can highly recommend the biltong, goats cheese and strawberry salad! Very generous serving of biltong and decent portions!
Very friendly staff. Great variety of quality beers. Before I could finish my tasting paddle dinner was ready. Especially with 2 young kids. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone.
It's a great place to grab a beer and have a good time with your family or friends, when you've had a long walk in the Grampians. It has a great music playlist which makes the atmosphere very pleasant. You must to visit this place when you go to the Grampians.
Super friendly staff and very delicious food and house-made beer was absolutely wonderful, definitely recommend to everyone who comes to this town
Amazing food - no photos unfortunately, it was too good to stop and snap! Great service for a table of 17, so grateful to have found such a gem to top off an amazing weekend in Halls Gap!
Surprisingly great food for a brewery! I highly recommend the Thai beef salad and my partner couldn’t rate the Po Boy higher either. In terms of beer we only had one each, they were probably very good but craft beer just isn’t our thing. Conveniently located near the caravan park so if you’re sick of your tent go here!
