Strongly not recommended - rude service by staff (on two attempts) and they are clearly lacking knowledge about their products. Much cheaper to buy online from other shop instead as they are overpriced.

This place used to be all about great service, and as customers we didn’t mind paying a bit extra for our products on that basis. Now the service is bad, the people don’t seem to have any passion for their work and the product range is still priced higher than anywhere else.

I had such a wonderful experience at paddy today. The customer service was incredible. Kelly went out of her way to help me with my needs for which I am very grateful. Big thank you to the manager too. A really great place to shop all hiking needs.

Christine helped me with a hiking pack and was extremely knowledgable, attentive and helpful. The team got me in three hiking packs (very quickly) to make sure I had the right one and nothing was too much trouble. She was thorough and had an answer to all my questions. Thanks so much!

Quite possibly the rudest lady I have ever come across in a shopping experience in many years. Very angry and unhelpful really felt like she didnt want to be working in this store! Was willing to spend several hundred dollars to purchase goods from here and her overall presence and demeanor actually offended me to a point where I simply left. Never again will I shop at this store.

Really good service. Ripped an expensive jacket coming off a bike and the guys organised a really good outcome for replacement with the supplier. Shows why shopping bricks and mortar still pays off still.

Great bargain spot. Helps if you have size 42 or 39 feet as most boots are those sizes and cheap.

The Ringwood store is the clearance store so there are bargains to be had, and the staff are really friendly and knowledgeable.

Special order of an Osprey climbing pack. Very helpful. The sternum strap was missing. No worries. A call immediately to the distributor to get one sent directly to me. Nice.

We spent some while in this store today buying hiking shoes and pack. We were served by Christine who couldn't have been more helpful. She was knowledgeable and patient and although I know I could have ordered these things online for less, the benefit of her experience makes it well worth a trip to the store. We would happily shop there again despite being 2 hours from our home.

Get with the time's women feet go beyond the dainty 9.5 you decide they should go up to. A size 10 is not unusual. Why do men's shoes have more some options?

Some good deals to be had in the clearance area provided you can find your size. I picked up some very good quality light weight trousers for travelling at a good discount.

Brilliant store, and Staff. Myself and my brother walked in today to look for some sleeping mats, and a Trangia set, and we ended up walking out with the works. It must have been our lucky day since a more than usual amount of staff were present, and they all offered their own unique opinions which really helped us out. Big thanks to Mike for the absolutely fantastic breadth of knowledge, and to the young girl who worked for Mont!
