I've been there twice in the last week. Amazing spot, great food and the pisco sour there is legit (I'm peruvian)!

Oh, the interior design is brilliant btw!

Food was amazing but the treatment of front house manager was soo rude, we had to wait at front for 5 minutes and when he came no greetings or apologies just said what do you want. Come on have some respect for your customers, if I am at your restaurant ofcourse I was there to grab a meal! May be next time greet customers politely and offer them menu as they might not remember all the menu.

Absolutely loved this place! We got take away, although the restaurant looked amazing and would love to go again for a sit down meal. The prices were reasonable for what you’d pay for a place of that standard. Bit on the more expensive side but food was absolutely delicious. The potato gnocchi was soft and the sauce was incredible. Absolutely done perfectly with chunks of mozzarella in it. Pizza was crispy and had a lovely flavour. Unique topping options but worked really well together. The tiramisu was delicious! Everything we tried was really lovely and will definitely be coming back!

My family and I were looking forward to a great, hearty meal at Osteria. This was a really important dinner. We had read all the great reviews and walked by many times to see the place buzzing.
We were extremely disappointed with both the food and the service last week. We were offered a discount on our meal and was told by staff that they “also had other complaints” that evening.
4 out of 6 of our diners were really unhappy with their meal.
The thing that upset me the most was the service. Even though we purchased sparking water for the table along with a bottle of wine, we had to ask 3 times for still water for the table. On a warm day you would have thought this was a no brainer. Another no brainer you would have thought would have been to check on our meals after we were served. No one checked. Especially disappointing considering so many of our dining party had problems with their dishes.
At an average of 35$ a plate for mains, you would think this basic service would have been present, but it wasn’t.
The whole experience was very disappointing. We definitely won’t be back, especially for the price we paid (even with the discount). I will be warning anyone considering this place to go up the road to Santoni’s for a much more authentic and pleasant experience. You’ll be much happier.

Orded lunch there. It was a good size portion although not to my liking, and very expensive for a bowl of pasta.

Casual but delicious. Great food/cocktails and the best service. The staff always have a smile on their face and make you feel very welcome. Have been here 5+ times and never had a negative experience. These guys are my favourite place in Hawthorn

Amazing location, fabulous authentic italian food. Weekly specials are definitely worth checking out. Very personable staff including Giuseppe, Frank, Bella and Jack behind the bar. Mark and Gary do an excellent job behind the pass and are always happy to accomodate special request where possible. Very kid friendly even for the most difficult of “mini customer”. Great function space available too with delicious catering options.

7/10 Better be good.especially for the price that they are asking on. $30.00 for their Pasta dishes.

Great food, very well cooked and prepared. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful with selections. Would 100% go a hundred times again.

We were invited for a dinner to Osteria, the service was brilliant. However we ordered two dishes between my self and my partner, one of the dishes was a pizza. The pizza was overly salty for some reason and it was the ham to be specific. We didn’t make much of it to begin with but left half of the pizza because something about it tasted odd. Both of us started vomiting and got severely sick not even 3 hours after we got home not to mention the entire night and the following morning!

I truly hope this doesn’t happen to anyone in the future but your doors will never see us again.

Fairly expensive food, that sadly doesn't live up to expectations. It's not that the food is poor, just that it's poor for the price range. Hope to see their quality go up soon!

We had a private Xmas function there for 60 people. The experience from start to end was perfect. The food was delicious, presentation impressed everyone plus it came out quickly. The service was excellent - they are always friendly and attentive and it made for a great celebration. Thank you to the team at Osteria 20.

The food here was good. The Pizzas were tasty and the vibe was good. As we live nearby, we have walked past several times and each time the venue was humming. This is why we chose to book for the event.

However, the floor manager lacked communication between all his staff and customer service. Firstly, the booking was made for a total of 20 people yet on arrival, there was a table setup for 18 people. When requesting the additional seating, he refused to admit that a mistake had been made and became tense towards our table.

Later, when organising the bill for a large group, we were advised by different staff that we could split the bill. The floor manager spoke with me to advise that we had to do one bill and could not split. When my wife was clarifying the correct information for paying, the floor manager was abrupt and cut off my wife as she was asking her question. By not making eye contact and assuming that my wife was not the event organiser, he soured a good experience for our group.

Overall, we would recommend the floor manager would treat ALL customers with the same level of service. Osteria 20 is a place we recommend you consider, however, this improvement is necessary.

Love this place. We went there for our anniversary with a high hope, and they didn't disappoint. Staff were great, friendly, helpful, and polite. Food were of high quality and appropriately sized, just perfect for sharing without making us too full.

Yum pizza! Seriously worth the trip in the car and better than any soggy burger. Kids wants the calamari and chips back again though on the kids menu.

Great food served by friendly staff. The Gorgonzola and pear pizza was delicious. It's decided into different sections with different decor. Very pleasant lunch sitting by the open window.

Great Christmases get toghter really great guy playing music in private room the waitresses and waiter were outstanding hard to beat. Excellent personalities too. WOW

Once again we are treated like valued customers. The entrees of chips, polenta, eggplant and halloumi were a hit. These guys make the best polenta chips! We were in a pasta mood and nobody was disappointed. Never thought making a lamb rigatoni, simply delicious. Lasagna looked beautiful and was given the "Thumbs-up". Costa explained The Specials with his fantastic flair. Again Guiseppe made sure everything was to our liking. My favourite place!
