Osteria 20

Out table of 6 waited over 2 hours for our food after asking about it several times. It wasn't that busy but the waiters were flustered and just kept asking if we wanted to order more drinks. We were getting ready to leave when they told us it was only 4 mins away. When the food arrived it was cold, tasteless and missing some ingredients. It was the worst restaurant experience ever.

We were 4 adults at dinner Thursday night. Food was great, pizzas were fresh out of the oven. Our group had gnocci, chicken risotto, penne and fungi pizza. The food was fresh and tasty.

The wine experience was sub-par. Being licensed, the venue is not BYO. Our first choice wine, not available. The server went back to get the second choice wine. Not available - "the person who takes inventory messed up". 3rd choice wine instead of 2016 vintage was 2017. "Misprint in the menu". Though we were charged 2016 price. In an established restaurant, this is not acceptable. Plus charging for a different vintage is bad practice.

Will we visit again - not for some time at least

Yum, yum, yum! Food is definitely on the somewhat expensive side of things but the quality and taste is delicious. The atmosphere is really good but it can get quite loud if the place is busy (and usually it is). Would come here again but it would probably be for a date or a special outing.

Today’s Mother’s Day lunch was absolutely beautiful! The set menu was generous in servings, delicious in flavour and served by friendly staff who were genuinely invested in ensuring the lunch was enjoyable for us all. The glass of Prosecco to start was a perfect beginning. Thank you very much for a lovely day.

Food was great and service was great also. Staff were very freindly and accomidating. Thunbs up here.

My first experience of osteria 20 last year was amazing. Good food, good service and decent prices for what u revive. Tonight i was very disappointed. Terrible customer service, i ordered something of the menu and didn’t get everything in it. I felt like i was eating off the childrens menu at a pub.i am usually very full after a pasta dish but not this time.could go for a large big mac meal at maccas + a mcflurry.

Don’t waste your your money!

Attended an event here and enjoyed the food and service provided. Nice interior and a great place to eat. They have a separate event space next to the main restaurant which made the event more private. Pizza was delicious and well cooked. Stand out for me were the prawn cigars - absolutely delicious with plump prawns inside.

Carbonara was terrible - and I don’t use that word lightly.
Firstly, bacon was used instead of guanciale despite the menu advertising ‘guanciale’.
Secondly, they used cream in the carbonara which was not mentioned in the menu description. I would not have ordered the dish if I knew these things. Cream and bacon not only isn’t traditional, but is also extremely lazy.

I’m not one of those people to send food back. I just don’t ever return. And I won’t be returning. It’s a shame a single dish can ruin the entire experience.

1 star because the pizza and seafood linguini were quite good and the restaurant itself is nice.

Food was fine and the restaurant is lovely but the staff were absolutely appalling. We waited for 45 minutes before we asked to place our order, and then had to ask another three times because no-one came over. The worst was when the waitress was literally at our table, we asked to order, she said "yep" and then walked off to take food to another table and never came back! Outrageous. Not to mention the poor attitude that came with it.

After dining with Osteria 20 I was delighted by both the service and the food we received. The initial greeting by Giuseppe was warm and inviting and the festive decorations gave the restaurant a Christmas atmosphere that we have been yearning through the lockdowns. We were fortunate enough to meet a couple of the exceptional waiters and waitresses on the night who knew both the food and drinks menus very well, able to provide sound recommendations that impresses the whole family.

The drinks menu is quite impressive with detailed flavor profiles of the wines, Gins and Whiskeys that were a delight to read. The extensive cocktail menu allowed all parties to find a drink of their fancy and were presented with the upmost class by the bartenders. The food was certainly the star of the show with some beautiful entrees that were quickly demolished by the whole family. We were lucky enough to try some of the incredible specials which hit the spot just right.

If you are looking for a restaurant who knows how to present desserts then this is the place. The apple crumble and the chocolate fondant were unique and presented with class. Overall the dining experience was exceptional and we will be dining here again in the future.

Shame on you, for an industry that has been shut down for the past 2 years, you would think you would have your act together. 2 hour and 35 minutes, no food and had to ask for drinks. Shame on you

Bar ran out of many items so favourite cocktails weren't available but food was delicious. Will definitely be back!

Our family love Osteria 20, Giuseppe and his team always go out of their way to help our family and ensure we have everything we need. The pizza and lasagne are our favourites and whether it’s takeaway during lockdown or dine-in, the food and service never disappoint. They are also outstanding at accomodating our daughter’s severe allergies and ensuring we can have a safe experience every time. Highly recommended.

Been here twice and both times it hasn't disappointed. The meals not only taste good, but are also served in good portions, and there is plenty of variety on the menu. Service was also very good and staff were very friendly

Might have been a busy period but waited a while for our orders to be taken despite several waitstaff walking past and telling us that they would be back. Food was great and drinks were alright

Our waiter Sam was exceptional, knowledgeable friendly and super attentive. Tom was absolutely fantastic as well so we felt very well looked after.
Food was superb! We ordered the Tempura prawns for entree, mains were the chicken risotto, Steak w mushroom jus and crumbed pork cotolettle and for dessert we ordered the Chocolate soufflé and Apple crumble. Everything was 10/10.
The chefs at Osteria continue to excel and we loved their new Winter menu-Bravo!

RUDE.the guy who takes money behind the counter didnt even look at us in the eye while serving us the whole time. I dont care if you are the boss or his son, you need to learn basic respect to people. There are plenty of other nicer restaurants in the area, will not come back.
