Orrong Compounding Pharmacy

When I want something special that my chemist, 5min away can't provide, I happily drive to a special chemist, 40min away.
I'm greeted by good-looking staff, mainly young women, who are friendly and helpful, without being pushy.
Then, apart from the standard prescription services:
As a compounding pharmacy, a woman can have bio-identical hormones made up in the shop,
I've had Homeopathic drops made up, which comfortably helped me lose 5kg in 24 days,
I've had advice on high quality (not supermarket) nutritional products, with the professional knowledge of possible interactions with prescription drugs,

Finally, the owner of the Pharmacy, John Catsicas, is not only a qualified pharmacist but also Naturopath, Homeopath and, I've found, all-round Nice Guy, even has a sense of humour!
What's not to like about the Orrong Pharmacy, cnr High St and Orrong Rd?

Well worth the 40min driving there and back!

Thank you to the staff who were involved in my parents care on 7/4, in particular Irene for her excellent vaccination skills! So lucky to have such a great pharmacy close to home.

Went into Orrong compounding pharmacy for the first time over the weekend and had a really pleasant experience. I had called ahead and the staff graciously put an item on hold for me as they only had one left! When I went into the store a couple hours later I was greeted by Rachael and as promised the held item was waiting for me. To be honest in this day and age it’s lovely to be treated like a person rather than a number! Thanks so much! Will definitely be coming back!

I am very grateful for the way John had handled my daughters condition, He has consistently gone out of his way to ensure her health and well being is okay. He is very knowledgeable, very patient and very very funny.

I came here for the first time and needed a cream made up as my local pharmacy is not a compounding pharmacy. They said it would be done by tomorrow, but I asked if I could have it by close today (10pm). They said yes, and amazingly I got a text not one hour after I’d got home saying they’d done it! Excellent service for your compounding needs

I must commend Jenny Mac for her pleasant disposition and professionalism. The pharmacy was very busy at 1.45pm today (22/01/2020). I needed to get some documents certified. I was served by Jenny promptly when she finished dispensing medication, and was greeted with a warm smile. I apologised for coming in at a busy time, but she said it was no fuss at all. It was such a pleasant experience! Thank you Jenny!

I wouldn't generally provide feedback for a pharmacy as its just one of those places you visit when sick and desperate. However I was served by a lady named Courtney and she was brilliant with her advice and recommendations!

Amazing service. The two ladies that served me were excellent, very polite and nothing appeared to be a problem. Product was posted and arrived as stated.

A staff member went above a beyond for me! So eternally grateful so annoyed I didn’t get her name! Need a compounding script for my son urgently and they did it quickly and better tasting than the previous one he had! And has this cool thing in it making dosing so much easier

Great compounding pharmacy, however watch as some of their items are prices incorrectly. Had to return for a refund as a candle was marked $30 cheaper than I was charged. Didn’t really get an apology, just a refund. Would return for their compounding pharmacy though.

John and the team at Orrong Pharmacy are awesome. I love their holistic approach to health. They are really committed to making you feel better inside & out!

Following excellent service on New Year's Eve, I'm so pleased to have found this compounding chemist.
I spoke with John about needing an urgent compounded script filled for my infant daughter and I was met with such kindness and wonderful service with the script turned around in under two hours. In addition, the product appears to be far superior than what we had previously been buying from another pharmacist. So pleased, we'll be back for sure!
