64 We went on a Sunday afternoon with a small group of five.
Had the degustation which was generous and tasty.
Service was friendly, cocktails and wine were nice and the food was good.
Highlight for us was the bread and oil ha!
On the dessert alone.
If you like your #tiramisu and #profiteroles. Coffee is not bad even with weekend surcharge.
Guy Grossi desserts are classically good, not overly sweet, and just right.
One of the best spot on Sunday arvo in the City.
Lovely staff and restaurant. We booked for a dinner at 7pm and the table was all ready for us. The interior is dimly lit so the vibes were very nice. We ordered the gnochetti (must try) and the prosciutto, pear pizza which was very filling. They also gave us a cute Mother’s Day gift which was very nice of them.
Solid tasty food, cocktails were all a bit on the sweet side and could be a little more balanced depending on the central spirit.
Came here with friends and had the gnocchi and chocolate mousse for dessert. It was brilliant food. Very friendly service. Great night was had by all.
Really fantastic early dinner. Service was exceptional and everything was delicious. We will be back for sure
Stunning sharing menu.with wines to suit. Also, beautifully done catering for my who's gluten free.
Lovely food, drinks and service. They were busy and, like so many restaurants at the moment, understaffed, but the team let the drinks and food flowing! Very enjoyable experience.
The service was great but the food didn't quite match the service. Some of the dishes were really overpriced for what they were. It's a nice spot but we wouldn't race back.
Our favourite place to eat in Melbourne thanks to the incredible staff team, restaurant atmosphere and delicious food.
I think first impressions are always important, we were recommended this place by a friend, we checked in our QR codes but had to show 3 different people our vaccinations within 1 minute.fair enough. May I suggest to just check it 1 time at the front door like other guests?
Service wise I think they could be a little more hospitable, we booked a table of 4 & were shown to a bar table with 2 settings. A bit awkward & unorganised, considering they could have set our table up within the 1 minute we checked in with 3 different people. Very quick to clear our table as I was still eating a few things.
Food wise, we ordered the specials as most items on the menu were items we can get in other places.
The bread & paté with caramelised onions were amazing, pizza & pasta not so special.pasta was a bit undercooked & Pizza a bit soggy. Considering it's value of price, it was a bit disappointing, not sure what the hype was about this place.
Overall venue was nice, however wished same was reflected in the staffs. Food could be improved for its value.
Value for money is the best I have ever had, absolutely incredible food, highly recommend the 65 per person deal.
Total rip off. Ordered two starters to share, were recommended the specials by the server (thinking the prices would be in line with the menu starters ~$12-$18) meatballs and croquettes, and a small beer each. When the bill came out, we were completely shocked = $83! $25 for each starter - 6 tiny meatballs, and 4 tiny croquettes! Apparently also a 15% surcharge on Sunday for service which there was no mention of. Felt totally fleeced. Would not recommend.
Lovely staff with extremely good food and beverage knowledge. High attention to detail and quality of food. Would highly recommend for any special occasion!
The service, decor, menu and ambiance all transport you to Italy In this little bar, well located at the top end of Bourke St. The service is unpretentious, friendly and professional and this is a perfect spot for aperitivo. The snacks menu is great, and the wine list extensive, if a little on the pricey side. And who doesn’t love a bar where each gin is listed with its own garnish? ! I could sit here for hours!
This is a new fav of mine. The staff are fantastic - we let them order for us as we couldnt decide and it did not disappoint. The food is delicious and fresh - bonus for the freshly baked focaccia.
One of the best Italian joints in Melbourne! The Prosciutto pizza is to die for. And the ribs - oh my goodness. Capped off with a couple of world class desserts - the cheesecake & salted caramel buns were amazing
Good food, Good Atmosphere, Highly recommend their pizza. Just be aware of the portion sizes as you can easily think an food item is larger than it actually is.
I went with a group of 8 & emailed a week ahead of time to inquire about vegan options. I never heard back. When at the restaurant, I asked which items were vegan. There were none so I asked if they could vegan-ise a pizza for me. I literally got a pizza base with a slop of pizza sauce on it. Not impressed. The non-vegans at the table enjoyed their food but give this place a wide berth if you have any vegans in your group. I was made to feel like an imposition & the food that was presented felt like they were just taking the p*ss. How hard would it have been to put some veggies on a pizza?
Out with the missus & looking for somewhere for a quick lunch and we popped into Ombra. What can I say; straight forward Italian cooking done really well with a great (and not pricey) wine list (actually, we liked the wine we drank with lunch so much we bought a couple of bottles to take with us). Standout dish for us (it was a light lunch) was the gnochetti with salami
Defo recommend.
