Ollie's Cafe and Bar reviews
46We've tried to give this place a chance multiple times but each time been disappointed by the service and quality of food - despite charging CBD/Melbourne prices. Brown and very little avocado on the avocado toast, missing some of the ingredients listed on the menu. Service without a smile. Not sure management have the right recipe for a warm local cafe.
Great coffee, great food, well laid out place, friendly staff, great place to have coffee with friends.
I walked in.lined up with everyone.thought that's what you had to do.others let me in.obviously a group. I went to counter to order. Her blunt reply. Where you sitting?
Pardon.where you sitting? Dont know just got here.feeling really embarrased replied.so you want me to get a seat first? Do you want to sit near back wall?
Geepers.talking about feeling welcome. NOT.might be busy.but a little kindness wouldnt hurt!
Coffees good
Good coffee, good service. Food is ok and they have a good vegetarian selection. I feel like it’s a bit overpriced for what we get. Took my wife and 2 young kids for brunch on Sunday and spent over $80.
I hate sunny side up eggs, but they serve them that way by default. Hate to send things back when they were told to turn them when I ordered! Just couldn't get it right. Friends didn't even get one of their orders.
I normally don't take photos of my food, but this deconstructed souvlaki swept me off my feet. Absolutely would recommend.
Sometimes the service is a little lukewarm, but hey, we all have those days, and the atmosphere of the cafe makes up for it.
