Amazing experience! Both the food and the service were an absolute delight, we had such a wonderful time here. Definitely recommend!

Booked for tomorrow night, receiving a call today explaining that because they have a few cancellation and only have two tables booked, they've decided to close for the night and cancelled our booking. I made this booking 6 weeks prior for a special birthday event which has now been ruined by their unprofessional conduct. Extremely disappointing of a venue we have frequented for many years, we will not return!

Food was very very bland…. Lacked seasoning in every dish
Ordered a beetroot entree and it was literally cubes of boiled beetroot with blobs of ricotta
As for the lighting outside at dinner time…. There was none
Guests had to muddle across paths leading to the entrance hoping not to trip over cobble stones
Overly priced

Food and servers were good. The set menus are not really worth it. Our antipasto was just 3 small share plates of pumkin dip, chicken parfait and some ceviche, no cured meats at all. They should just call it a first course starter so you don't get let down.
And for dessert I ordered a cheese platter. It was 2 small pieces of cheese.

Best part of the meal was the chicken parfait and bread.

Door service was non existent. Yes there was someone physically there.need to work on meet and greet.
Table was not ready which was fine so we went to the bar to get a drink.
Two female staff members gossiping about someone else in the restaurant in front of us and not serving us. Not a great start.
Served with a cracked glass - attention to detail a bit slack.
However the food was fantastic. Had the fish special which was Barramundi with a side salad. The salad was simple yet delicious. Ravioli was also a winner.

May have caught some staff on a bad day but well worth the visit.

We love this place and live locally and have been coming for a couple of years now, however the last few times we have been here we’ve been served by a middle aged, short dark haired waitress and each time she has unfortunately ruined the dining experience. She is quite rude and ignores questions. The most recent visit we had, we waited over 45 minutes for our mains and when we asked when it was arriving, she replied ‘oh well you have your chips’. No apologies offered or clarification on food. And similar experiences have happened previously with this waitress. I hate to point the finger, but honestly we expect more at this kind of venue. And want to keep loving it!

Excellent scenery, service and food. More your high end type of restaurant that you would struggle to find like this. Be aware however no flexibility at all on the menu, not even a tad.
But otherwise fantastic

I absolutely loved this place. I would say that this is the best winery in the whole of Melbourne. Staff are super friendly, amazing food, scenery is stunning. I'll definitely be coming back

Went here today for lunch with a friend and my 1yo and 3yo. I booked online so wasn’t sure they understood my booking request. Arrived for the 2pm sitting 15 minutes late but the staff were nothing but accommodating. Being Australia Day it was fully booked but very busy but our waitress Sam greeted us with the same courtesy as if we were first in the door. No small task I know as someone who has been in hospitality for 20+ years. She got a high chair and some crayons and paper and was a just lovely with ordering and working through our chaos. Sam was the epitome of what hospitality is about.
Our meals were amazing! I have worked in many high end places, including an Italian restaurant with a chefs hat, and our food was definitely up there with the best. I will definitely return. I didn’t get to sample the wines or liqueurs on offer but I look forward to it next time.

The atmosphere and surroundingd are as though you are in Italy.

Must try the homemade limoncello too.

I loved this place visited very often, but yesterday visit it was very disappointed.
We wait for food around 1 hour and the worst things they bring to us first calamari and after 20 minutes olives and pica

The food was good but the service was terrible. Arrived at 130 service was so slow finished main meals at 430 and we order tea and coffee we waited 40 mins for it to come out, so we cancelled it. Friends order a desert wine and it came out in a very small glass and they charged $8 disgraceful.

Very tasty food in a great atmosphere. Views are delightful and a great family afternoon out.
Get in early as your can’t book outside but it’s the best

My home made pasta were so hard, terrible, and tasteless. My husband and friends pasta's stuck together. We were experiencing a worst pasta ever. A bottle of sparkling water costs $20. Took a long time to get the staffs attention while you have to get out on times as a schedule.

Just above average food. Not sure why I drove this far. Definitely chefs choice isn’t the goto one. Could not give a proper panna cota. Dessert was below average.

Not worth the drive down, full of kids running around everywhere. Bar service was terrible and pizza was mediocre at best. Would not recommend.

Amazing place, the food was incredible and such lovely staff. I will be back and bringing everyone I know and visitors here all the time. Couldn’t recommend higher!
