Had the 3 course option which was all very nice, however it was disappointing that they were rushing us out of the door. We had a 12pm booking and were told at 1: 20pm that they needed the table soon.i asked what time the next booking was, and was told it was 1: 30pm. In my opinion 1.5hrs is not long enough for a 3 course lunch. It was a disappointing end to what was otherwise an enjoyable experience.

Right up there as far as Fine Dining goes.
Excellent value for money, staff were attentive, helpful and prompt. The vista is great. A better wine list with some museum releases and table cloths for the fifth star.

Wonderful group meal where we enjoyed a great selection of Italian inspired food and wines amidst a pleasant atmosphere. Great service. Would definitely return.

I have frequented Olivigna for many years. I appreciate the difficulty with Covid and staffing, working in hospitality myself.
My experience today is beyond words. We recognised that the waitress who attended our table on being seated was learning.
I was having lunch with my 91 year old father for my birthday. He requested the slow cooked pork as it’s easier for his palette. I saw him struggle with cutting it and asked the waitress for a steak knife. The waitress offered to bring dad another piece of pork after discussion about it being tough and dry. Dad declined.
On settling the bill I was asked about the meal, I expressed disappointment in dads meal.
The young managers response was, “we offered to cook it again, you declined “. I explained that my father is 91, he was more concerned about me waiting for his meal to be re cooked than about his lack of enjoyment for his meal. She reluctantly took off a glass of wine from the bill but has little understanding that she has lost long standing customers.
Bottom line, undertrained staff and inexperienced employees that you designate as managers.

I've been here a few times and always been well fed with quality food, excellent wine and the setting is very reminiscent of Italys Le Marche. Their own distilled grappa is sensational.

Went here for my partners birthday last night, amazing food and friendly staff. The restaurant was very busy and still the service was great and surprisingly wasn’t loud, must have good acoustics! Also, table size is large so you don’t feel like you are squished and strapped for room when eating which is a nice change from most restaurants. We had the ‘Anna’s Shared menu’ and went for the 4 course option, everything was so delicious but we couldn’t eat it all and had to take our dessert home with us because we could not fit in another bite! Would definitely go the 3 course option next time as the serves are very generous! Thanks for a great night, we will return again for another special occasion!

Just went to the Italian Grill night at the restaurant. Look, Olivigna is a nice restaurant. We’ve been there before, and it is usually pretty good. The wood-fired pizzas are great. This time around, the service was just average. Waiters were disinterested and perfunctory. You didn’t feel welcomed. All very transactional. Wine service was a bit surprising. No presentation of the bottle, or offer of a taste. Just slosh into my glass first, and then my wife’s!

The olives, bread and starter pizza were very good. The shared grill plate of swordfish, sausage, and eye fillet was ordinary. Everything was overcooked, even the sausage. We were not asked how we would prefer the eye fillet, and it came out medium to well done. Very disappointing. So much potential spoiled by lack of attention to detail and poor customer service.

The worst. It's a beautiful 28 degrees outside but in the restaurant they're aiming to replicate an antarctic voyage. On said voyage, rations are sparse so they drip feed at a snail like pace to try and conserve them. Did you want 1.5 hours between courses? Of course! Who wouldn't? The added convenience of being able to split the bill for a large table just three ways really topped things off. Not recommended.

Had a fantastic evening at Olivigna Restaurant! Their pizza was definitely a highlight of the evening, but the alcohol was very delicious! Recommend the dining experience for larger groups, and look forward to coming back in summer to try the Alfresco dining!

We had the menu @80 per head and were looking forward to a nice lunch. The food was not to our liking, would have preferred simple Italian dishes. The servings were small, with no side dishes. The pana cotta was unusual and did not taste nice. We did not enjoy this lunch at all.
All in all the menu was nothing special, just very expensive. We found it not worth the money we paid. Avoid the days were you can only have the set menu.
Disappointed and won't return. Completely overpriced.

What a treat lunch was yesterday (especially for vegetarians) food and wine were delicious great service.

Wow, was looking forward to this one but we walked away feeling pretty ripped off. We booked in for a Sunday lunch unawares that it was a compulsory 3x course meal at $80per head. The menu was very confusing and the poor wait staff had to explain it to us several times. The food on offer in this 3x course meal was very unbalanced and if you wanted greens you had to pay extra.
Otherwise you would just get meat or pasta or pizza w no side. You would think for $80 a pop you could chuck a few green beans on the plate.
The drinks was sooo sooo over priced ie 2x white rabbit beers $24! (You can get a 6 pack for $22!). One Negroni was $20! Sadly we won’t be back or recommend.

2 stars for the location/scenery.

All I can say is DON’T GO!
Shame shame shame, such a pretty place, however the young female manager is rude, the service is appalling if you can call it service and the food JUST ok if it was a 1 star establishment, not to mention the disgusting attitude. You have a total no can do attitude which I have experienced so many times over the phone. I thought on this occasion I would give you one more opportunity to redeem yourselves, but you have no notion of the word hospitality, let alone provide it.
It was my birthday and so say that I was disappointed is an understatement.
We will never ever return and cannot wait for the opening of Riverlea to open nearby. Bring it on, you deserve to lose your business to competitors.
If I could give you no stars I would have.

Impressive garden setting and views from the dining area. Unfortunately that's where it stopped. Service was indifferent (no explanation of the menu or set price meals). Went with the $80 three course option which started ok with antipasto. The main was a cold pasta concoction and chicken wings on a chic pea mush! One guest complained his chicken was undercooked (it was)! The waiter argued otherwise and left, never to be seen again! Took twenty minutes and several requests to finally get dessert which was preplated with no time consuming preparation needed. Four unhappy guests won't be back!

Very poor value and service. Chicken was raw and the waiter was dismissive when we made him aware. Definitely will not recommend.

Disappointing service! We had a table by the window which we thought was great until the sun came out! I asked the staff twice, to lower the blinds but they ingored me. The only solution was for US to move the table away from the window. We thought the sharing platter was overpriced for what you got. We'll give it a miss in the future.

The estate is gorgeous, reminiscent of an Italian villa. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the food was marvelous.
I would highly recommend Olivigna to anyone looking for a meal out, and an enjoyable experience!

Would seriously not recommend coming here. Food was disappointing at best and overpriced.

My partner and I got the $80 3 course meal. For entre he got a few pieces of salami and procutto thrown on a plate with some dry pieces of toast. It was bizarre.
I got the scallops and didn't enjoy them.
I was so upset when my ravioli arrived because the portion was so small. The pasta was a bit rubbery. To be fair my partners seaford pasta tasted great. I had to have some of his because mine was so small.
My tiramisu was the worst I've ever had. It literally had no flavour. It didn't taste like coffee at all and it was pretty dry. Even the pieces of chocolate they served with it tasted bad.

Besides the bad food, half the staff weren't wearing facemasks which didn't bother me too much but could make some people uncomfortable.

The inside of the resteraunt didn't feel nice or fancy at all and for the price we paid the experience just wasn't there either. Although the outdoor dining did look nice. The outlook over the hill outside isn't anything special either.
