Olinda Cafe

Great cafe in a great location. Food was excellent, bacon and eggs on sourdough toast with hashbrown. Great ginger beer as well.

Friendly staff too. We came early in the morning to do a walking trail in Olinda and the awesome staff were so helpful in providing good info on the best trails.

5 stars for service, atmosphere, fresh food and if you go for lunch on a Saturday like we did.pick your time.it was packed. 3 stars for the long black coffee, it was bitter. Will get tea next time

Amazing breaky! Staff was wonderful and very helpful. I came to this cafe 2 years ago and left with horrible experience with average food and staff service. But, thought of giving it a try again with my family, no doubt things have improved. Will visit again:) please! Stay consistent with your food and service.

One of my favourite things to do is go for a drive up the Dandenong Ranges and whenever I do I always go to this cafe. Warm and welcoming, friendly staff, great food (try the lamb pizza, chips and homemade sausage roll) and amazing coffee. I have been going there for years and I will continue to go there for years to come.

A delightful cafe serving good coffee and a variety of sweets and savoury. Olinda is favourite place of ours in the Dandenong ranges. We always make a stop here for at least an hour or so and would always have a coffee and sweet in this cafe. Clean area with lots of seating space. Friendly staff with very fast service! I would recommend you get a coffee or tea and maybe try their scones which is yummy too!

Nice cafe in Olinda, venue is nice and plenty of seating, customer service is great, service of food is a little slow however the store can get quite busy. Good organic juices and coffee, some items on menu are abit over priced.

Lovely staffs, always greet with a smile. Great atmosphere and decent food, a great stop-over on way to the Botanic Garden.

The atmosphere was warm and cozy, the service was amazing and the roasted mushrooms were ideal for a cold morning

Food quality was terrific. Despite being busy, not a long wait. Would encourage management to teach the staff how to be 'hospitable'.

I went there with my family over the weekend. It was quite busy. Food was great and very nice, helpful and efficient staff. Love and thanks for your service. A warm and cozy place. Would definitely recommend.

It's a small but always full cafe. Love their food and their coffee. Their food are yum and just right portion and we'll priced too. It's a good spot for lunch when going to Sky High. The staff are very friendly and approachable. Definitely will come back again.

Absolutely gorgeous cafe!

Always come up here for the lovely drive and good coffee. They also so some incredible Tea and Scones also. Great Sunday Morning adventure up the mountain in the winter fog!

Disgusted and disappointed, the plate my food was served on had old food stuck onto it (looked like gravy but I had the frittata) and I saw cutlery picked up from the ground and placed back onto a table before guests were seated.
Young staff are spoken to in a horrible manner by a senior female member of staff, I wouldn’t want my daughter working there!
Consider the other options when in Olinda.

I’m giving this cafe a two star because I was quite disappointed with the coffee and the cake that I ordered.

Coffee honestly was quite average, it was quite blend and couldn’t really taste too much coffee.

Oreo cheese cake - not only I can’t taste any cheese nor any Oreo. Not freshly baked.

Would I come back or recommend to friends or families? No.

Service struggles - younger staff seemed to struggle with the volume of customers & then forget what order went with whom. No cuterly offered without prompt - had to ask for the wi-fi password rather than knowing, was advised to head over to the counter & check for ourselves, mind you they run a single queue for orders & payment - probably the most congested part of the cafe.
Food was ok - serves were of ok size - coffee was ok also - choice of meal is ok also - ambiance way too loud probably added to the miss communication.

Wenr in for afternoon tea. Pot and extra pot of hot water so 3 cheers for that. Great cheesecake and a fire warming the whole cafe. Very friendly efficient staff.
