Okami (Mornington) - Japanese All You Can Eat

This was a great experience. The staff are extremely busy but manage to get through the tables efficiently and the food arrived within a reasonable timeframe. The food is very good and there’s enough diversity for everyone to enjoy.

Food is hit and miss depending on what you order. Wait staff working very hard in full restaurant. Very very loud inside too

We were not satisfied at all. It is the second time we’re going to Okami and we were so disappointed. We came at 8pm and 1h later they told us that the kitchen was closed when we normally have 2h to eat. Some of the things we ordered never came and at the end when we had the little red card with « service » clearly shown, the staff ignored us for 30 mns before we decided to go.
The way to the toilets was extremely wet with no sign to indicate that we could fall.
Also, it was not clearly state that it was a public holiday so with the 15% surcharge the price was kind of a surprise.
Overall the food is great but the service was not really it.

Had a table reserved, get sent to a table that was dirty, didn’t get menus given for 25 minutes

I thought it was really good value, a little chaotic with service staff running around with food but was all good and fast service.

Busy venue with abundant food and drink. A building fire across the road added to the evening adventure, and gladly no person was hurt.

First time here, lovely staff, great service, amazing flavours in food.very quick at serving food.will definitely be coming back

Dramana serves over cooked flavourless meats with awful service and Mornington serves yellowed old vegetables to reduce costs.
The quality has certainly dropped considerably in the past few months. Very disappointing!

The MacDonalds of Japanese food. Sadly it has little to commend, apart from the sashimi and the prawn gyoza. The tempura batter was far too heavy and the dipping sauce looked and tasted like plain hot water, the teriyaki beef was tasteless. Very disappointing. Not a bad winelist, but shan't be returning.

Very quick service and extremely good value for money food.

Especially if you bring your hungry teenagers

Very very good food! Amazing service, very kind, and serve food fast! Front of house staff are incredible! Many food and drink options! Food is incredibly tasty and hot! 100% recommend, very good for family and big functions

Good tasting food, reasonable quick service if you know how to order. Recent menu changes are good. It can get busy so you really need to book. Toilets need cleaning more, as not the best. I like the fact there is no loud music playing all the time, like some places.

Interesting idea, pay one price, order fresh and eat as much as you want. Definitely come hungry to get your money's worth, and don't order too much or else you may pay extra for wasted food (which I have no problem with!) Food is delicious and the wait is very small. All in all a great dining experience.

All you can eat is great value and fantastic food, poorly managed service times ment they are taking ALL the orders at once and by the time they get back to your table your just done.

Fantastic food, there are so many choices re the food on offer. Great service and looked after. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Delicious food. The service was great they were quick and efficient and with how busy there were it was a pleasant surprise.

DO NOT GO WITH A BIG GROUP OF PEOPLE!
We went for someone’s birthday dinner (their were 15 of us) and the food was lovely… when we got it. Half our table didn’t get what they ordered and the other half didn’t get any food at all! Multiple people had to request the same thing multiple times before they got it (some people didn’t even end up with the food) They kept messing up the drink order so when the bill came they over charged us. Also note that you can’t split the bill. The food was good so I recommend going as a small group but not as a large group. Quite disappointed and won’t be coming back. It’s not worth the money we payed. I just got home and I am going to cook myself something because I’m still hungry. }: (

Fantastic all you can eat for just $36 per Person. The staff are so so Friendly and welcoming when you enter.
A lot to Choose from the menu and you can have as much to eat as your belly can take. Also Drank a few Cold beers and had a few hours with the people you love in your life and Spend happy Moments with.will be back soon.

Had dinner at Mornington on Sunday 10th July. Great sevice and amazing food. Thank you Okami Mornington.

Food is really delicious-fresh sushi and sashimi, crispy tempura, all great. The only thing I would say is that it is soo hot and bright inside, they need to turn the heating and lights down a bit- will make it feel less cafeteria like.
