This place is amazing, great food quality and a great price for an all you can eat service. The servers are attentive and very friendly, and the food comes out at a great place. I've been here twice so far, once with my partner and the other was with a larger group, both experiences we fantastic. I recommend Okami to anyone wanting authentic Japanese dishes and a great environment.

Have only just discovered Okami Hoppers Crossing. This place was fantastic. My son and I went for the all you can eat. So many great vegetarian options for me and my son tried everything he could. Food quality was excellent and staff lovely and very prompt even though it was busy. Well worth it and will definitely be back!

Food taste is nice, BUT it may be a business policy, as we ordered the grilled squid, at the start along with other items, the squid never came out.we asked 3 times and they said it was being cooked, first time they said it was being grilled, second time we asked they said it was coming, the third time they said was still cooking.never came!

We were there for the allocated time of 2 hours and NEVER had the squid to eat.so disappointing.

I think maybe as squid is more expensive than other food, so they just keep dragging it out and when you are full they hope you don't want it anymore.it may be a good idea to order the more expensive food first?

Grest service, which justifies the price. Food isn't the highest quality, but the amount of options and the prompt service makes Okami a good option.

Always a busy place - was hard to get a booking. Food was okay - have had much better. Service can be slow. Ambience is that of a canteen so dont go there for a date or family dinner. Fixed price all you can eat is the main appeal.

We were denied food because our table ate too much. Isn’t this all you can eat? There were 7 of us so naturally we would be ordering a lot more than other tables. Food is average and definitely not Japanese quality. Will not be back there.

I went last night (Sunday 26th January) with my daughter and her partner. I had never been before. I can honestly say I cannot stop raving on about this wonderful restaurant. The service was fantastic, the food so fresh and SOoooo delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed it, so much so that I want to have my upcoming Birthday at Okami. Sadly wont be at Hoppers crossing as I live in the Eastern suburbs. Okami keep up the wonderful job you're all doing haven't enjoyed a meal at a restaurant as much in years Well done!

Great experience! I went there last night and the food was pretty amazing. The servers were really friendly and helpful. I will definitely come back again and also bring my friends together!

All things taste good but it’s a pity.there isn’t sashimi platter. Do not like rice: (But the waitress and waiters served really fast andnice.

Came here with a couple of friends and was very impressed with the quality of food and service. The food was fresh and very tasty. The staff were very attentive when it came to ordering and clearing your table. Food came out quickly. For the price you definitely get your money's worth. Will be back for sure and reccomend this to anyone wanting to try Japanese in the area.

Fried rice is the best I have ever had (the chicken is good but other options seafood or just prawn would be amazing)

We ordered Miso Beef and requested the chef via waitress not to overcook the beef. The beef was so tender (texture like Wagyu beef). It was so perfect that we have to complement the chef. Well done Okami.

We have been going to Okami since it opened but last Friday we went the food portions had dropped cosiderably there was twelve of us for my daughter's birthday and we were disappointed we were so looking forward to eating there as it was fantastic but I was saying to my wife is it worth going back there again service isn't real good there is no structure to the way the waitresses are looking after you, plus there was not as many people there as previous times and I think people are put off by the small portions you get now, before we had been to Geelong and Footscray we will be going back to either one of those and see if they had dropped their portion size to the owners you had a good business going on there don't spoil it
