Okami (Bendigo) - Japanese All You Can Eat

Went here with my partner for my birthday, and everything was amazing.
From the service, atmosphere and most importantly to the food. All the servers were super friendly and the food we had was so fresh and tasty!

First time dining experience with a table of eight people. The atmosphere was delightful, the staff very friendly and helpful and the food was spectacular! Incredible price for an amazing experience. Have already told people to go try it out! Will definitely be going back for sure!

Wonderful place to eat out in Bendigo. Excellent staff and service is impeccable. Reasonable price for the quality and quantity of food you receive. Gone there multiple times myself already and would recommended. Special thank you to Leslie and Jack for the excellent customer service everytime we visit.

Sat there for 40 minutes waiting to order, while everyone ate around us. Supposedly they couldn't select our table, only returned once to us in that time to say that she 'hasn't forgot about us', but did nothing to reassure us, give us an estimated wait time, or attempt to take our order manually. Given the window for eating is 2 hours, wasting 40 mins of that waiting (with no end in sight), it was pretty ridiculous.

Highly disappointing, particularly because we went for our 13yo daughter's birthday. Hard pressed to say if I'd be willing to give them a second chance.

The friendly and inviting team at Okami Bendigo will go out of their way to make your experience a good one. The food is fantastic, comes out quickly and is of a very high standard. I have eaten at Okami many times since it opened and will continue to regularly. Easily the best Japanese food I have had in the region.

What a wonderful dining experience. The food was excellent. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was amazing. My go to place from now on.

Attended for the 1st time tonight with a group of friends at 7.45pm (2nd sitting).

Food is ordered off the menu but it's ALL YOU CAN EAT so there's plenty of it.

Positives: Lovely staff; Delicious, fresh and well presented food, served quickly; nice decor; clean bathroom; very reasonably priced

Negatives: difficult to order drinks or more food because wait staff didn't come to our table very often (needed to try and get their attention) ; drinks ordered twice but didn't arrive; a bit noisy

Tips: we ordered too many entree dishes and were pretty full so didn't get to try many mains (only two) so next time I think I'd order less rice based entrees to save room for the delicious main meals!

Overall, we had a great night, left with full bellies and can definitely recommend.

We'll be going again, soon!

Great quality food. Good service. All you can eat is incredibly good value. Even better than the last time I went to Okami in Footscray.

Great staff. Great atmosphere. Great food. Great service. The Miso steak a highlight. Tempura prawns a hit with the kids.

Great value for money.
Delicious food in small entrée size servings - ideal for testing new dishes.
It would be a great experience for cautious less experimental diners.
Between 2 of us, we ordered 11 dishes plus rice.

I am loving heading to Okami in Bendigo! The food is fresh and plentiful and the service is brilliant. I have been multiple times and keep looking for excuses to head there with either friends or family. Such a great new restaurant to try out. Highly recommended!

All the food was amazing! Far exceeded our expectations. The staff are happy and friendly. We will definitely be back.

Food was good not great, certain things took a while to arrive which was a shame but our drinks came with straws so 5 stars.

Wow! Can't speak highly enough of this place. Great atmosphere, great service & great food all at very reasonable prices. Highly recommended to anyone, especially if you're like me and love trying something new.

The food was wonderful at this restaurant, however the staff weren't so much. Was in a large group of 15 people, one child was on the table which wasn't going to eat. Though when desert come around she wanted to try some, this was met with confrontation with the staff member with the actions of wanting us to pay for a full "All you can eat" service for this child eating one scoop of ice cream. This was later resolved to being charged for the ice cream, however with 14 other paying customers, this was quite bizarre to even be an issue. As well as stating that she was taking up room for a paying customer. If this didn't occur, the rest of the food and experience was quite good (the food especially)
