Officeworks Geelong reviews
70My wife and I needed new office chairs and were after some advice on the best options for our needs. Josh was incredible at giving us advice and walking us through our options. We are extremely happy with the chairs we bought and were very impressed with Josh's knowledge and assistance, he even helped us unpack the chairs from their boxes and fit them into our car as they wouldnt otherwise fit! All round great service and great products!
I recently visited the Print and Copy section of Office Works Geelong, to print off some baby shower invitations.
I had the pleasure of meeting Chris, one of the lovely staff members working in the printing section.
Chris was extremely helpful, and efficient. Not only did Chris do a wonderful job printing my invitations, Chris also offered to cut my invitations for me (a service that I didn't realise was available at Office Works).
Chris is an asset to the Print and Copy section at Office Works, and truely deserves this 5 star review.
Thanks Chris, you're a legend.
Fantastic. Had to ring first, and they were happy to keep the item aside. Then when I got there it was as simple as going to checkout, wgere the staff were awesome. Can recommend Geelong Officeworks fir sure!
I had a complex, large-format matte laminating project. The staff in Print and Copy were really knowledgeable and helpful. I'm very happy with the result, as well as the price and the speed at which they were able to to it.
My Worst Officeworks experience ever. Staff has no manners to talk. Always in a hurry and ready to avoid a conversation. Despite of explaining twice the staff made mistakes in my scans. My phone app scans better than the staff here. I needed scans for
official purposes which had specific scanning requirements otherwise I’d avoid Officeworks Geelong at all costs.
The staff should learn to be polite and treat their customers with respect. I don’t think it’s too much to ask for.
Staff were amazing and helpful. Tasked with dealing with some difficult customers that are obviously very self entitled. 5 stars on service 1 star on some customers
If you've ever felt like heaven might be a place on earth, well, you must have been to Officeworks in Geelong. What a stunner. The most knowledgable staff (can you even call them staff when they are this kind and passionate? Maybe we can call them the Chosen Ones). I really lost my mind in this place, in a great way, never thought I could have so much fun talking about printers. One star off for not having Disney themed post it notes.
WORST STAFF EVER LACHY IN GEELONG STORE
I HAVE BEEN WAITING 20MIN FOR HIM (LACHY) TO CHECK ON A PRODUCT AND HE JUST WENT TO BREAK AND NEVER COME BACK. LACHY! I WILL COME TO NEXT TIME.
I recently did a Click n Collect Order from the Geelong Store. Awesome on-line ordering experience, great communication, letting me know when my order was being received, stock was being prepared and then when it was ready for pickup. I arrived at the store the next day, staff were friendly and helpful. They organised for me to pick up the printer and paper at receiving, again staff found my order quickly and placed into my car for me Will definitely do shopping with Officeworks again, great experience
Has pretty good stock of everything and staff are always friendly. The only down side it the carpark can be busy, but this is to be expected in the centre of Geelong.
Lockdowns make things hard, i get this! But if you can do Click & Collect then you should be able to do exchanges. Now i have to do two 1 hour round trips for a faulty cable. Figure it out!
We were in-store, after going to Waurn Ponds, and being advised that the chair that we wanted was in stock x 2 at Geelong. Store, When we arrived this was not the case so we decided to have a look at other chairs.there was a big piles of boxes with chairs for sale, so we asked a staff member if any of these chairs were made up on display. No was his reply.o. K so you go and have a bit more look.the same staff member then comes and says you will have to move as I will be bringing some boxes to unpack here now. My reply was yes as we certainly are leaving, not going to get any help. This lead to us walking out of the store, probably not to go back after years of dealing with this particular store. I have never been treated like this at this store, but think I have to take our business elsewhere. Also on arrival, there were absolutely no trolleys available so the staff member greeting you had to go outside and do a search.at least he was generous and friendly.
Usually well stocked and presented but the staff can certainly do with a bit more training and attention towards customers.
ABSOLUTELY USELESS!
Either the management are really terrible at telling employees what to do or the employees have no idea what is going on.
1st interaction the man on the door had no idea what was going on, couldn't answer any questions, gave me the wrong information and then referred me to the website. The website alerts stated it would be 2 days to print anything, the staff told me hours, then the alert came thru within 5 minutes.
2nd interaction with a woman on the click and collect couldn't even find my order then eventually sorted thru a basket and asked if my order was in here - breach of privacy as I saw everyones personal details.
Service is terrible!
Tried to come shopping this morning for some emergency supplies for my child, can't park in the carpark, asked the front desk why its blocked off to be told "to stop workers of local businesses and the public parking there in the morning", grow the hell up you sooks, bad attitude to have! Will be taking my business elsewhere
You need to be carefull who you choose to work at your geelong city store. The child who workes there I asked for help on the far wall this morning he could not care less about helping me, he was more concerned with talking to his co worker complaining when lunch was.
Tried to print some photos at the self serve kiosks, they have worked before however this time I couldnt transfer just 20 photos. Used every kiosk they had and waited patiently for over 30 minutes. If the kiosks don’t work they should let people know before so they don’t waste people’s time.
Would be awesome if someone actually answered the phone.just because internet says it’s in stock doesn’t mean it is
Great experience.
Special thanks to Darren who went out of his way to help me today. Much appreciated.
Nice store overall, staff are very friendly and keen to help, the prices are quite reasonable as well so cant complain there, variety of products was reasonably good and they had everything that i needed, would recommend.
