Oakridge Wines

Skipped the wine tasting and settled on the food as the last bastion of my Yarra valley wine bender.

Sipping the Syrah 864 whilst overlooking the serene Oakridge vineyard felt intoxicatingly calming. The three course menu wasn't extensive but blended seamlessly with the wine and atmosphere.

It is also possible to get up close and personal with the grapes at the edge of the vineyard, and listen through the grapevine.

Probably this is 4.5. As food was good but we weren’t wowed by the menu. Table staff very friendly and helpful with tasting and matching wines. Lovely scenery. It was a special occasion and maybe our expectations were higher about some of the small touches that bring you back to a place. Overall very nice day there.

Known for their white wines, but seriously the reds are excellent!

I've been told that oakridge are happy for you to bring the cheese platers from coldstream dairy (totally recommend) to have when you have purchased a bottle of wine from them. Beautiful estate to enjoy wine and cheese platter

Writing on behalf of my parents, to whom I book a lovely Saturday winery trip for. They couldn’t not fault anything about this winery, it was simply exceptional! They thoroughly appreciated the most friendly customer service of the Japanese waitress who served them. Highly recommend this winery!

To enjoy any bottle of wine cheap, dear or even expensive, you need the experience you won't enjoy your time and your wine if the atmosphere is not right.

A very good cellar door - can get a little noisy and hard to hear the descriptions of the wines as they are presented. It's very well presented - excellent views facing north of the Valley. Very good wines also, the 864 label is the premium and very high quality - the "off the shoulder" is easier on the wallet and quaffable. I haven't been into the restaurant but it has Matt Stone in charge of a talented team, and award winning as is the chief winemaker. Overall a quality experience.

Beautiful place to enjoy a glass of wine. We visited in the end of April when the vines were full and the leaves were already changing. Slightly more expensive bottles for take away, but a very wide selection as this venue is a bit more "commercial. " We will return for the views. Plan ahead if you're a large party though as they wanted to charge us $10 per person to do a tasting for a group of 9.

Beautiful winery with a modern and enjoyable setting. Cater for weddings as well. In house restaurant offering lunch, booking in advance is recommended. Try their award winning wine.

Really good people here - we arrived as they were closing. Having realized we came a far, they did a quick session with us to ensure we could get a couple of bottles as they are closing the next day (Fri 30th).
Amazing that I hear they make and their serve own bread with a cheese platter from the yarra valley - happy to see the local businesses support one another. Thank you ladies - will definitely return on our next trip.best wishes from Singapore.

A very enjoyable experience. Our booking was missing (turned out it was likely my fault!) but that didn't phase them in the slightest and they seated us straight away. A very enjoyable lunch with some unique dishes and great staff who were incredibly helpful. Great views and a relaxing dining room.

Great reds, esp the single block syrah. The Botrytis Pinot Gris is a great dessert wine that has a dry finish so it's not too sickeningly sweet. Prices are cheaper than the boutique wineries.
