Oakridge Wines

I would say visiting Oakridge has been our best tasting experience in Yarra so far! Big thanks to the lady staff who delivered the tasting session, with her professionalism and passion, we have had an extraordinary experience with a much better understanding on the terroir and wines. All the wines given in the tasting menu are absolutely beautiful, especially the willowlake Pinot noir and original vineyard cab, so much elegance and complexity within. Now I’m a big fan of oakridge and excited to try more wines in the future!

Awful wine tasting experience. Grumpy staff who clearly didn't want to be there. Not a smile. Felt like they did me a favour for taking my money. Had the $50 tasting of the 864s and got maybe 15 to 25ml of each. Clearly wasn't happy with new management! This was really sad because I have a dozen of the 864s in my cellar and really love their Pinots. Couldn't wait to get out of there.

We dined at Oakridge on Saturday, enjoyed the four course set menu, paired with the delicious selection of Oakridge wines.

Just had a lovely lunch at Oakridge. The food was thoroughly enjoyable and the Riesling was delicious! Would go back and also recommend to others.

Excellent wine tasting with Bron, she was so professional and exhibited excellent customer service skills and knowledge of wine, left feeling like I made a friend. Can’t wait to go back! 10/10

Stunning views from this winery, I’ll give them that. My partner an I walked into their tasting room and browsed their wine selection. The server behind the counter was too busy doing wine tastings with a group of 3 people to acknowledge us- after 10 minutes of being ignored we left. Very disappointing. We would not go back or recommend to friends as a result of this experience.

Wonderful dining experience for Father’s Day! Food and service was faultless. The starting platters are delightful and I had the Murray Cod for mains and hubby had the pork. I particularly liked my dessert of toasted brioche with ice cream. Impeccable… Such a wonderful setting. Wines fabulous. Thank you.

Oakridge Winery is a beautiful place for a special occasion. The food was outstanding, the staff attentive and professional and the view over the vines made it just perfect!

Never in my life have I ever received such rude service. I was served by William and his attitude and customer service was absolutely disrespectful. The wine pour was so little we could not even taste the wine properly. When asked why so little his answer was we only pour 15ml and the pour was definitely not 15ml. To make things worse we were poured a wine where there was a hair and when we brought to his attention his reply was "I am aware of it". There was no apology from him at all. The worst and rude customer service I have ever received. When mentioned we would not pay for the wine tasting due to the poor service his answer was we have to pay for it. Luckily when we explained the situation to the other lady who was serving to other guests she mentioned that she was 'stunned' and she will waive the wine tasting fee. There was no apology from William and his attitude was absolutely disrespectful. I always purchase couple of bottles of wines from every winery I visit, but I decided not to from Oakridge after the experience we had. You are better if spending your money at other wineries for tasting and purchasing.

My partner and I had one of the best wine tasting experiences we’ve ever had, much thanks to JM! She’s an extremely knowledgeable, witty and passionate women from South Korea who took us on a journey with some of Oakridge's best wines.
The vista in the tasting area was second to none and the surroundings seem to elevate the experience even more. Thank you JM for an unforgettable experience and the many lessons we took away! We can’t wait to see you again!

We had the tasting flight and the wine was really average. We had wine from the premium range and that was delicious!

However, if you’re someone of Asian descent, I highly recommend that you do your tasting with Ashley. Ashley was sincere and kind to our questions. Lyn, the other staff that helps with tastings, was visibly only interested in customers who were, shall we say, of the same colour as her. She was fully focused in dealing with white customers but very distracted and insincere when doing our tasting. She didn’t describe the wines properly, peppered random technical terms that didn’t mean much, and overall just disparaged us as if we were country bumpkins. Racism might be too strong a word, but it’s close—discrimination and disparagement might be a better description.

But don’t let her bad attitude affect your wine experience—go with Ashley and it’ll be a fantastic experience!

This is the third time visiting Oakridge. We went on a Thursday the last two times, so it was nice and quiet. Beautiful dining room overlooking the vineyards. The food was excellent and plentiful. Our waitress Alara was lovely, very friendly and attentive. She really made us feel welcome and special. Look forward to returning.

Had wine tasting for $15, wasn't told I had other options to choose from. Unfortunately wine wasn't worth paying for tasting but I was very happy to pay for the view from the seat for wine tasting. Absolutely beautiful place but shame about the wine. Restaurant wasn't open so didn't get to try.

Went here for a wine tasting with some friends and had JM as our guide. She was absolutely WONDERFUL. She made our experience fantastic - not only was she knowledgeable but was super engaging and found a wine everyone liked. Highly recommend this as a necessary stop in the Yarra Valley wine tour. Especially JM

The staffs are very friendly especially the young lady and the manager who served us today. The food is delicious and the white wine that we ordered is good! My mum had a great time today as we came here to celebrate her birthday. We are so happy with the food, wine and the service provided! Thank you!

This restaurant and winery is impressive on every level. Great customer service throughout and the restaurant one of very best winery restaurants you will find. The four course menu is outstanding, utilizing locally sourced ingredients and perfectly balanced flavours, the kangaroo dish was exceptional. An absolute standout experience.
