We were walking down the street looking for a place to have a breakfast. We saw this place and we thought it was charming and clean. We were welcomed by a very friendly staff member. We got our food quickly and it was so good. The coffee was also delicious. Great service and great food! We’ll definitely come back.

Over 1 hour wait for toast and other basic meals. Two stars as the two meals that arrived after 30 minutes were nice, but others at the table had to watch us eat them which was terrible. Asked twice for the missing meals, lack of follow up.
Won't be returning.

Very well maintained cafe. The staff is friendly and helpful. Food is great and coffee is amazing. There’s a big function hall at the rear to accommodate bigger groups.
One of the best cafe in Kew.

Had a function here recently, the service was poor with our guests having to wait over an hour and a half after the function started. When food finally started coming out it was so slow. The amount of food provided was not enough for the amount of people we had paid for.

We know there definitely wasn't enough as 1/3 of our guests left before the food was even served (probably because they were starving) therefore there should have been plenty of food left over for people to get 2nds. But there wasn't even enough for those who were left.

When questioned about the amount of food they were full of excuses saying "we don't want to waste food". But we paid for it. You should provide what is paid for even if there is going to food remaining. We paid and got the hell out of there but talking to our guests after the function has made us furious. What a rip off! You should not agree to an event if you are not going to provide adequate service and the food being paid for. We even had to set up the table and chairs when we got to the venue. They couldn't even do that.

Organisational skills are non existent.

Great food. Friendly service. Pram friendly. Extensive menu in comparison to a lot of other cafes during this covid period

Beautiful cafe but unfortunately I had to throw my take-away Chai in the bin. I asked for an extra strong chair latte not thinking that it was power chai.i Then left and took my first sip when I had left. The waitress just added extra scoops of chai powder which made it undrinkable, thick and extremely sweet. Not a proper chai. Sadly wouldn't go back.

Ordered meal here and was very average for the price. Also, the furniture is all sticky and needs a good clean. The tall girl with the long brown hair at the counter was incredible rude and unpleasant to deal with when I paying the bill. Review the attitudes of your staff as it's a turn off.

It was just excellent. Service was pretty good and the food was awesome. I'd like to visit here again

My local cafe, been there before but never have wow factor in food. Nice place for the 2 stars but food is not really up to the standard, quiet poor indeed.simple squid salad! Salad was prepared very very earlier on, the cabbage has changed colour and turned bitter after bathing in dressing for too long.water came out of it.squid was not fresh.how hard it is to prepare salad on the spot, we had 4 people that day, all very disappointed with their ordered simple dish.lazy chef? Perhaps!

Food is great, coffee is great. Service is great. Do not expect them to answer the phone if you ring, you can not leave a message. Do not expect them to return an email if you send. If you get hold of someone when you ring they do not take phone number or name for a booking so do not be confident that your booking is confirmed. When we rang to cancel (5 phone calls later), they cold not find our booking. Will only go back if we are a walk in.

I ordered the seafood plate and omg. I could not finish it. It was lovely! Even their oysters with sake, I loved it. Worth it

Nice casual food and coffee in an otherwise uninspiring street, both visually and for cafe choices. The veggie burger was very nice, the service pleasant, and the voice of newspapers comprehensive. A bit dark and noisy towards the back, I recommend the seats and tables near the window.

Good food and coffee. Lovely staff who don't mind if you want a quick bite to eat or if you want to sit and have a long chat with a friend.

Had a lovely time, brunching with a group of girlfriends. Great service, friendly staff and amazing food. People were coming and going, tables turning over and we were not once rushed so they could have the table. Will definately be back. Beautiful Hamptons decor that initially attracted me to visit.

Popped in for lunch yesterday with my partner and toddler.
The food was exceptional. I loved the ambiance of the place and was pleasantly surprised how many copies of the day's newspaper were available for patrons. A cosy Sunday lunch.

We come here every week. It has a nice range of food. The coffee is good and there is enough room for the family.

Lovely decor and friendly staff, the chai latte was pretty good, didn’t have any food. One of many good cafes in Kew.
