Got my little one for her 6 months vaccinations. Doctor and Nurse attending my little one were very friendly and lovely. Good experience for mum and bubs!

I've come here every single time since moving to the area 3 years ago. Now I live in Fitzroy and still come, simply because every single doctor I've dealt with here is incredibly professional, friendly and competent. I always felt that my concerns were taken seriously and always received helpful treatment.

Today I've had my last appointment forever. I booked today's appointment online and choose the 15 minutes option. I only came to get some paperwork singed which is necessary for a "dangerous goods driving licence". Unfortunately it took 19 minutes instead of 15, so I've been given two options (by the receptionist) :
to insist on paying for the booked 15 min. (~80$) and never return to North Brighton Medical
or
to pay for 30min. (126$).

Under normal circumstances I would have always just paid in full because the doctors here are worth it, but for personal reasons I am not currently in the position to do so (purchased an expensive truck license + dangerous goods licence costing 2,5k+)

The receptionist also said: "If you can't afford it, go somewhere else. "
A sentence I won't forget anytime soon.

Feedback:
More sensitivity about when to charge someone 126$ instead of the amount agreed on upfront (online booking), would be senseful. Maybe it could be communicated during the consultation?

I finally got my truck and dangerous goods driving licence now (total of 2.5k+ expenses). Not that it matters but these expenses kind of brought me into the position of being a bit short right now.

More sensitivity about when to charge someone 126$ instead of the amount agreed on upfront, would be senseful. Maybe it could be communicated during the consultation? For some additional 50$ are nothing and for some it changes how the rest of the week is being perceived.

Still sad I'm not welcome here anymore. Never been rude, never struggled to pay besides these two "incidents" (10-20 visits over the years).

Double thumbs up! I never had these sorts of friendliest and amazing treatment from clinic in Australia by far.

North Brighton Medical is the best and I definitely will make them as my family GP.

I encountered welcoming reception staff, lovely waiting room and Doctor Caroline was very informative and friendly. Lisa (clinic nurse) was so warm and efficient. My first time at this clinic and I feel very happy to return.

Recently had my second Covid booster and Flu shot at this lovely clinic! Felt relaxed and cared for by the doctor and nurse on duty.

I have been seeing my GP for a few years now.
What's really great about Doctor Peplow is that every time he examines me it's as if it's the first time he sees me. He listens to me carefully not like some other doctors who after a while it becomes routine for them they hardly examine you.
Simply the best medical center in the area.

I've had Covid jabs and now flu jab here, and am actually considering making it my permanent GP clinic. The staff are all super nice, efficient and knowledgeable. They're doing some renovations/extensions at the moment, but that doesn't detract from my experience.and shows how good they are, that they need the extra space!
