My shopping experience at the Nike store in Emporium was quite disappointing, and it was made even more frustrating due to an encounter with an elderly staff member who I believe may have been the manager, Sabah. She left much to be desired in terms of customer service.

Firstly, Sabah was quite rude and seemed to be staring at me without any apparent reason. When I inquired about a pair of shoes, she baselessly accused me of being a reseller, which was both uncalled for and unsettling.

What bothered me most was the unnecessary wait. I stood at the counter for a frustrating 10 minutes while the shoes I wanted were readily available on the shelf. When Sabah finally took notice of me, she spent a further 15 minutes digging through the purchase history to check if I had bought the same pair of shoes before. I was told that I couldn't purchase them again because of a purchase I made 8 months ago, despite the shoes clearly being in stock and having minimal resale value.

To make matters worse, it seemed like there might have been some racial bias at play, as a Caucasian friend of mine had a completely different, hassle-free experience purchasing two pairs of the same shoes.

Overall, my visit to this Nike store was marred by poor customer service and the unfounded accusation of being a reseller by the manager, Sabah. The lengthy delays and what appeared to be unequal treatment only added to the disappointment. I hope the store management, including Sabah, takes steps to improve customer interactions and ensure fair and equal treatment for all customers in the future.

Today I had the best shopping experience I have ever had. Came in to purchase a pair of runners and walked out with two. The girl that was serving me was so lovely and knowledgeable and did not rush me at all. She was all alone in the store this morning and handling over 20 customers all by herself, serving everyone with a massive smile and patience. I checked my receipt to see who I was served by her name was Sabah. I’ll definitely be back again and will definitely recommend my friends to look for her when they need shoes.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. The manager (Saba I believe was her name) was extremely rude and unprofessional. Nike is meant to have one of the best customer service out there, definitely not at this store. Spent $370 on Nike shoes that were not fit for purpose, asked to try a size up but they would not let me return them because I had tried them on outside of the store…
Manager was too busy (and rude) and 'had no time' to assist when I asked for their return policy and complaint form

Was served by Charlie who was so friendly and welcoming. Although I wasn't able to find what I was looking for, he was very knowledgeable and suggested other styles that were similar.

Went there this morning. Purchased a pair of Nike sneakers for my grandson. Was told that if I downloaded their app before paying, I could receive a 10% discount on my purchase. Did so and yes I received the discount. Approximately an hour later after we had lunch, I went back to buy a similar pair of sneakers, just a different colour) for my granddaughter. When I asked for the same discount (10%) which isn't much, you can get this at pretty much any store even if your not a member of their club, I was told, "Oh, so sorry, it's only the one time. " I couldn't believe it. Imran it was only 1 hour earlier. If I'd known, I would have purchased the 2 pairs in the 1 transaction. Surely they could make exceptions for a case like this. I mean not only was it on the same day, it was only an hour later. Anyway, I left them. Didn't buy them. Went to Adidas instead. My granddaughter was just as thrilled (happy) with her Adidas runners. Poor customer service, Nike.

I was immensely disappointed with Nike Melbourne Emporium! The worst customer service ever!
1. There are more staff than customers, and they all have nothing to do and chat during the business hours, lack of the most basic brand expertise, unprofessional customer service. It took a long time to wait for the staff to pick up the shoes.
2. The new staff seemed to be on the board with no training, and when I checked out I found the pairs are not the same size. So I requested him to find a new pair of shoes in the correct size. He may face issue to find a new pairs and asked the person in charge of the store, I stood a little far away, couldn’t hear exactly their content of their communication. Taking quite a while, he finally came to me and handed me a pairs and said their are new pairs. I checked carefully, unfortunately, it is not new, there are stains on the soles, and there are wet water. He might wipe the shoes soles. I said it wasn't new and he didn't say anything. Later I asked him again if this is the last pair at the store. He said yes. It wasn’t happy at all though I paid it. The staff chose to deceive customers for the sake of sales performance.
3. Later, I decided to return the product on the same day, and the staff Austin (noted on the receipt), his customer service was unprofessional and rude. I told him I changed my mind and needed to return it. He asked me reason, I said it wasn't the new pairs, it had stains on the shoes sole. I asked him help check whether other stores have brand new shoes in stock. He raised his voice and replied, he can check the inventory of other stores, but they are not totally brand new. If you want brand new and no one try it on, it is better shop at Nike online store. After that, he handed me the receipt very impatiently, and quickly served the next customer with an unhappy face, without asking me anything. I didn’t want to waste my time to ask him any more questions and left angrily.

Staffs were very nice and helpful. Quick to attend your search for shoes and fast to recognise the issues and offer advises for sizing. I've enjoyed being there.

Customer service is excellent. The girl working on the fitting room and the one that served me at the till tonight we’re so helpful and nice. The girl at the till introduced herself which was really human and less transactional, about the sale. Love to see it.

Great layout and a fantastic range of the latest styles. The staff are knowledgeable and very helpful. They cater to a wide range of supporting requirements and have good stock on hand. Recommended.

Was simply ok. Maybe I’m expecting more, but with an excellent location and their reputation for creativity, I was expecting more. It’s also quite small which I find hard to comprehend being a global brand.

Not much variety on offer here also. I usually just come here to find sizing, and then order my Nike purchases via their website.

Good experience. Staff are very knowledgeable on their running shoe range. They will ensure you get the right shoe for your activity and run psce rather than constant upsell their more expensive shoes

Just bought some cool NBA hi-tops from Emporium, and I wanted to thank Sneha (I think I got that right, sorry if i didn't).

I was pretty indecisive about these and another pair, and it took me a while to make a decision, and she was very patient, helpful and approachable.

I recommend Nike Emporium —  all the latest Nike styles and rad staff.
