New Quay International Buffet reviews
61Not a bad buffet but the seafood was limited and let’s be honest, all you can eat you know people want seafood. Disappointing service, they forget to come back to you, have to call out to get their attention. There a better ways to do a COVID friendly buffet, they haven’t figured it out yet. Try Melba, little bit pricey but 100% worth it! Definitely all you can eat seafood buffet and has a Sushi bar
Good variety great food very good service and is great value for money. Can't wait to come back.
We had a New Years dinner buffet plenty to choose from so not sure what the standard menu is.
Can tell you though the food is fresh the Barbecue Lobster was just amazing. Really need to improve the music playlist as it really stood out past the noise and was not really enjoyed by many. All in all I will definately be back there to try a standard menu.
I was in late New Year's Eve and Colin and his staff were so accommodating, friendly and just gave me all around lovely service. The whole experience was a pleasure and I really hope they have an excellent 2019. Thanks so much
Okay place if you're really hungry and really can stuff yourself. Seafood is fresh. Can get really crowded.
It's really expensive to dine here and the food isn't the best, but for its price you expect it to be. The staff isn't respectful, however the place is normally not full, so it's kind off peaceful and nice. Wish there was more variety in their buffet and wish it tasted better.
Decent seafood selection at a reasonable price. But beside mussels, prawns and salmon, don't expect too much.
Salmon was good, desserts were good (their chocolate cake was excellent). The view is great, it is docklands after all, ;). However, their prawns were bitter? Maybe they were mass farmed somewhere overseas.bleah.their chinese-thai food was ok. Overall, just average quality.
It was okay could of had more and bigger portions like desserts way too small size of food was just too small next time going to another place
For the price paid, it’s not worth it. The selection was not that great. The most annoying thing was that the popular dishes such as sashimi, abalone, salmon were not replenished enough. I waited 2 hours and only got a few slices of sashimi, which was why I came to the buffet in the first place! Every time it was brought out, people immediately qued up for it and then it was gone in seconds. The service was alright but overall a disappointing experience.
Compared to other seafood buffet places, this place is cheap, but it's really worth the money.
So many food choices. & they're delicious.
Oysters were fresh, prawns also fresh, blue swimmers, mussels & more.
I really like how they make the servings of dessert, in small cuts. So for people who doesn't like sweets so much, won't waste the food.
I'll go back for sure.
There's other buffet place nearby which is cheaper, but don't get tempted.
Seriously. For a bit more, this place is waaaayy better.
The only minus which is probably not really minus, is finding parking.
But isn't that the problem everywhere in Melbourne?
Have quite a fair bits of sea food. Oyster, abalone scallops, crab & prawn are fresh. Abalone & scallops just get snap up in seconds the moment place on.
If your a big seafood fan you might like it. We asked before we went in if there was much other then the seafood and were told there were heaps of options. There wasn't. At 68 per head you would really have to dog in to get any money value
Great buffet. Kids under 3yo free, adults $39 for lunch on weekends. The seafood was exceptional, prawn, mussels and sashimi. The hot food was just okay, but the desserts makes up for it. Would highly recommend and the place is very children friendly (almost 50% of the people here bought their kids). Will return for sure:)
The food is average, the price is okay. Thirteen dollars for a jar of pineapple juice that is terrible, the is not cold and lots of tender and chewy bits so itsitnot enjoyablethe desserts are also not nice because it is at room temperature as it's meant to be cold. ️
For the price we give is feel not worth. The service is not good. The expensive food exc. Abalone, oysters and scallops is always empty in the pot. And when they serve out only few of them. When you take more of seafood the staff will scold you and ask you not to take much. Dessert finishes they will not fill up the empty one. Feel disappointed.
Very disappointing visit today. We've been coming to this place for years, bringing family and visitors from overseas. Always were happy with the service and foid. Today was very unpleasant experience.
First, staff ignored my request. I had to argue with them. Food was of very low quality. Too fried. Too little choice. For the first time we came home hungry
Wanted to impress visitors from overseas.
I went during lunch food was OK.desserts were not the best
Bathrooms really need to be cleaned
Before I even finished my food our plates were all taken off the table.
Nice place, very busy and lots of seafood! A bit pricey if you're not going to eat the $$ value in food.
Food is average. Service is terrible. Waiting too long to be seated, and the man waitor /manager is very rude.
