New Quay International Buffet

I attended a child’s party on the 16th December along with my coworkers. The food was okay, but later that evening I had terrible diarrhoea. Unfortunately, most of my coworkers and the family of my workmate had the same issue. I’m never going back there again.

Awesome seafood experience with cooked meat, salads, desserts, a lot more to choose from.
I attended with a group booking.
We all agreed that it is definitely worth the value.
The food was excellent, and the staff were absolutely amazing and very attentive to the dinners.
The tables were always cleaned and cleared, so there wasn't a build-up of dishes on our table as we finished each plate.
Highly recommend if you're looking for somewhere nice to dine in docklands, really chill vibe.

Had my son’s 21st birthday celebrations with my multicultural family of 16 and every single one of them loved the food.
It was quality all the way.
The variety was exceptional. It wasn’t all boiled seafood (like other buffets), it was cooked, baked and well presented.
The display and choice of desserts and ice creams was superior to most buffets in Melbourne.
My 2 Japanese sister-in-laws said the sushi was very well made. The roast duck and roast pork was delicious.
The dishes were topped up immediately and the service was wonderful. The bar prices were very reasonable.
It was a lovely experience and we will return.

Went for dinner. Plenty of delicious seafood. They replenished the oysters quickly. Everything delicious, and they make a great French martini. Staff are very friendly and plates cleared quickly. Look forward to going again.

The environment is beautiful but the food is average. Only 20 oysters are taken at a time. It's not fresh when it comes out. Only a few abalone have come out. We haven't eaten any of them, and the price is not cheap. A fish hasn't changed from beginning to end.

Great place for seafood and excellent custoner service. Having lunch looking over the water, boats and people along the dockland path was awesome. Thank you.

Such a great experience. The service is great. Might be best to display the oysters on a larger plate or something as it was definitely in high demand the evening we went. Will definitely be back, food is also delicious.

If you like seafood there is plenty of that. So maybe it just wasn't for me.

Conclusion: Not good at all. Food was cold. Dessert was poor. Don't be tempted by the chocolate fountain because there is none (weekday attendance). Staff were nice.

This is a good all you can eat place if you enjoy seafood, the food was really nice, especially the spanner crabs. They have lots of desserts here. Really nice place for a special occasion.

Went here last Sunday for a 3 year anniversary, the staff here are fairly friendly I asked what something was they knew what it was and replied promptly.

It’s very disappointed we went to this restaurant to celebrate my son’s birthday on Thursday night! The atmosphere of the restaurant was very bad because the seats were so crowded with people closely! The restaurant reserved half empty site but fitted all the guests in one site only. Unfortunately, there were a table of 8 people nearby shouted, laughed while eating all night. Also, they never changed the background music which was playing only a few songs repeatedly. They played the same music which I had visited a couple years ago. There was no quality at all with this restaurant on that night! I won’t come back this restaurant again! Not recommended!

My family and I dined at the new quay buffet and it was brilliant the food was on point as well as the floor service. Massive thanks to the head chef & staff you all went over & beyond expectations for all the meals provided especially for my friends birthday.

Price 78$ not expensive

We had lunch there. The food was amazingly fresh and high qualify. The grilled and sashimi salmon are exceptionally good. For this price (45pp) must be the worthiest in Melbourne. The cuisine is quit Asian, which is in particular good for cooking seafood. It is unexpected that have Cantonese desserts like longan red bean soup 龙眼陈皮红豆沙. Very delicious!

Highly recommended restaurant. Good value for money especially dinner buffet and very friendly staff.

We got food poisoning after eating the prawns and salmon. If you do want to eat at the restaurant, eat in the morning because i’m almost 100% sure they leave the seafood out. Also definitely not worth the money, it’s like frozen costco food

Absolutely loved this place, worth every dollar spent here, my only request don't leave the oysters place empty.
