NeNe Chicken

Very fresh chicken! I notice that they fry fresh chicken not the frozen ones. That's why it takes a little bit longer to wait than other fast food store. Also the staff is very nice and approachable

The service is RIDICULOUS here! Every time we eat in-store it's at least a 40-45min wait for food! And ordering take away, they ring me to tell me they are out of stock of a product and when I ask for a refund they suddenly "have it now" and I have to wait even longer for them to make the food! Definitely don't eat here if you don't have all day to wait!

Great tasting chicken, a little on the pricy side and avoid the boneless, it's very hit and miss with lots of skin and chewy bits. Sauces are great as are the sides.

Quality has gone down over time, was served pre-cooked chicken that was borderline cold and the meat was rubbery. Asked for flavoured but they didnt bother tossing the chicken in the flavour and just put the runny sauce on the side.

Today was my first time eating here. I ordered the snack pack. The salt on the chips was unique and delicious. The chicken was incredibly juicy and overall It was tasty and very filling. Good value for money

The food was amazing! The Snowing Cheese flavours was delicious and the Boneless was excellent. Coleslaw is very very good as well as and the sauce (swicy) mixed with the chicken. Fresh hot and crispy chicken and the chicken is crispy and juicy (perfect combo). Really friendly and helpful staff and the food arrived very quickly.

Ordered the Wednesday feast special for dine in dinner yesterday. The food took 35 mins to come out and they weren’t even that busy which is ridiculous for fried chicken. The chicken looked so pale pink and chewy that we didn’t even want to eat it in fear of poisoning. The chips were soggy and could tell they’d been sitting there for ages. The coleslaw was good even though it came 15 minutes after the chicken came out.

I have to comment the chickens I had ordered for my family today is the worst I have had ever tried from NeNe Chicken.
Firstly the girl/cashier whom took my order was extremely unfriendly, she was very rude in responding and unhelpful when I was trying to ask questions and meal deal to order a dinner for my family. Now let talk about the chicken! Is so dry and old, it is hard as a rock, honestly I would not feed it to a dog.
The customer service and food is a huge disappointment and nightmare. I would not be buying from here again.

Waited 21 minutes for chips- CHIPS, and there was only 1 person before me on a quiet afternoon. Staff didn't seem to care at all. When we finally got them, they were overcooked. Disappointing.

I came here on Sunday. Even though it was busy but the line moved really quick. I was impressed with the yellow hair guy who were extremely nice and patient. The chickens were tasty especially the swicy sauce. Will definitely come back here again

Snow cheese is tasty. Sometimes they run out of rice? Potato stick was flavoursome sweet potato chips also great

If you're looking for good, fast service with a smile, just a little smile, well you'd better forget about going to this particular NeNe Chicken shop. Been there three times (yes I gave it 3 chances) and it was worse the each time. In fact, the second time I went, I waited 10 mins to be served, but had to leave as I was on my lunch hour and couldn't wait any longer, or I'd be late back for work. Yes, very slow "service", if you can call it service. I'm sure the workers there are trying to sabotage/destroy the business before it's even had a chance to get off its feet. The owner/s need to really do something about the staff. Serious training or retraining. I won't be going back. They make you feel not wanted.

Always can count on nene chicken for a quick meal during my break time. Good customer service as well as hot and delicious chicken. Highly recommended.

My family went there on Saturday 15Apr in Highpoint (Marrybinong). It wasn’t open yet, the time was 1150am, other restaurants had open earlier around 11-11.30. Why open at 12 and people already queue especially on weekends and public holiday? We came 11.50am, the staff refused to served us, she said they opened at 12! Seriously? Long queue just to wait for another 10 mins? ! There were 4 staff inside ther, chatted and laughed? ! If not for the kids, I didn’t want to wait. You guys need to be trained better to served customers, Customer service were rude and slow. Very unimpressed and unsatisfied.

There is no zero star so had to give one star. The service here is terrible. I went to this shop on 02 Nov 21 at in the afternoon. The male worker at the counter was very slow and rude. He was also scrutinising the customer's vaccination record like a third world policeman; not at all acceptable in hospitality industry.

The guy that served us was extremely rude and impolite… I’m so disappointed. Literally the worst nene chicken I’ve been to. The other ones in Melbourne are way better than this one.

Ordered half and half chicken. You’d expect I’d get a whole chicken, nope. I got 4 wings, 1 drumstick, 2 thigh pieces with meat removed, 1/2 a breast piece. For $27. This is not a mistake this is intentional cost cutting (possibly due to COVID). Outright dodgy and unethical. Avoid at all cost.

Been to this Nene three times in a row to get boneless chicken and each time it's been sold out. Please restock your products ‍️

Terrible service. After 45 minutes we asked for our money back.

Awesome food. Awesome price. Better than any other chicken. Loved it. While this would have been the normal review I would put for this place considering my past experience

Today's experience was less than appetising on my 50/50 selection.

Freaking hot chicken was not freaking hot at all becuase they decided to cut down adding the sauce hence making it super dry and tasteless.

The Bulgogi sauce was watery since the microwave was broaken not a single piece of chicken was coated in sauce.

When asked to add some extra sauce, had asked me to pay $2 / the selection.

When I explained the same to manager, while patient there was no offer to even compensate or even attempt to remedy the situation.

Wasted nearly 30km. To drive to have mothers day lunch that turned out to be a bad choice.
