The batagor is delicious, but the peanut sauce is just not spicy enough for me because I like spicy but it's really delicious, the service is also good, the brothers are also friendly

What a perfectly craved Indonesian dish. I ordered Nasi Goreng Bali and the taste quite reminisced moments when I was brought up in Bali. The price is affordable as well. Good place for Indonesian Food Hunter.

I asked you two times to decrease the music volume, and it gets loud again. What is the problem? Communication problem? Fix it.

It's a club.

Delicious traditional Indonesian food at a very good price. The restaurant was renovated about 3-4 months ago and looks great. Very yummy and is my go to place for Indonesian food in the city!

Ordered beef with rice and potato with green beans and some desert. All under 20$ and very yummy! A bit spicy and very soft beef made my day! I wish they had descriptions for those who're not familiar with Indonesian cousine ️

One of our regulars place to eat, the food is great, the place is clean, the staff is most of the time friendly.
The opor ayam is great and tender, the rendang when is properly cook is one of the best in town, the sambal eggplant I’m in love with and their potato is awesome too.
I wish they can make beef tendon « message to the chef »
Their chocolate roti is the perfect snack, just reheat a bit and bit into it, love it!

Sunday is nasi kuning day.

I've been there many times but I feel the food abit hit and miss sometimes, maybe depending who cooked the food that day. Especially the rendang. I remembered the first time I ate there, the rendang felt authentic and tender, like as if it been cooked for hours but nowadays, it taste like it's been cooked in a pressure cooker which doesn't feel the same. That is my opinion.

Used to frequent this store thrice a week, back in 2006. Then moved away and got a chance to visit this store again, today (Aug 2022) to find the place has been renovated and it is much spacious. The food taste has remained the same and I enjoyed my lunch.

This place combines ordering from a menu and ready-made food from their bain-marie. I ordered beef rendang, tripe and beef with rice. I must say the beef and tripe dish is so delicious and tender. Unfortunately, I was disappointed having the beef rendang. The meat was quite tough that I couldn't eat it. I'm a huge fan of beef rendang. Hopefully, next time it’ll be more tender. The staff has excellent customer service, and they’re attentive to cleaning the table right away when a person has left. The place is super clean and pram friendly—plenty of tables and chairs. Many people mainly ordered from the bain marie because it was cheap. You can choose from many combinations of 1 meat and veg with rice, one heart and two veggies with rice or you can select and create your variety and pay the extra.

My sister ordered the fish, and it was delicious—so fresh and good quality.

Food was really nice (Nasi goreng seafood) the only problem the portion is too small for the price!

I took a risk trying this out this joint.

I had Nasi Goreng Normal, basically very ordinary fried rice with a few tiny bits of chicken and maybe 2 small seafood 'balls', cut into quarters.
Who know what the balls were made of, didn't taste like seafood.

The meal arrived not as described by the waitress, and had a fries egg on top. Neither the waitress nor the menu mentioned the egg.

I should have looked more carefully at the clientele before venturing in, altho at that point there weren't many in.

Why is it, along Melbourne's historical Swanston Street, we have the Worst agglomeration of terrible food places that I've come across, after being to over 100 countries.

This is just one sign of Melbourne's declining liveability.

Reasonable Indonesian food option. Two veg, one meat on rice $15. Onde onde was $6. All tasted authentic and good.

Buffet style lunch. Ordered two of the rice + 3 items combo - and was stuffed! Portions are huge, and a lot of options to choose from! Every dish was excellent and would make a great meal just by itself.

So disappointed with my experience here. I went in to get their meatball soup (bakso kuah) and was charged $15. When the food came, it was only the meatballs and veggies. No noodles at all (usually bakso will come with noodles). The staff didn’t even explain that noodles aren’t included nor ask me if I want noodles. I think $15 for a bowl of meatball soup (without the noodles) is overpriced.

Went there to take away a medium size container of beef soup, did not realise i was charged $15. The soup got plenty of carrots less beef. I recommend to ask every price before you order. The potatoes that i ordered also gone sour went i got home. I think they just reheated left overs.
