Naughtons Hotel reviews
67Naughton’s Hotel hosted our 50th birthday celebration last night and they were fabulous! Staff were super friendly and helpful. Finger food and drinks were perfect. We had a great night and appreciate how Naughton’s made it so easy! Thank you!
In an excellent position for visiting the city, a stone's throw from the start of the tram route. Rooms a little small and could be improved in cleaning
Fathers Day dinner and highly recommended this great old pub that has a fantastic feel to it. Food and service was excellent and we all came away very happy with our experience.
Had a lovely birthday lunch here, the food was awesome and service was fantastic! If your in the area pop in, it’s relaxed with a sense of refinement.
Hot chips and non-alcoholic drinkees, yum.
Nice atmosphere, relaxed.
Great loos too.
We had our staff christmas function tonight. Amazing food and fantastic service. Thank you team.
We have visited Naughtons many times for dinner and the food is exceptional, the drinks list is fantastic and the staff are always so lovely and welcoming. We recently had our wedding reception at Naughtons and the staff went above and beyond to make it such a fantastic event. All the guests loved the food and drinks. We stayed upstairs overnight and the rooms were super comfortable and clean. We look forward to visiting again soon!
Enjoyed the dining in experience, the person waiting our table was friendly, and the food was great.
Also loved the fact that the music wasn't too loud! Overall a fun experience
Classy as always, Naughtons now offers better value than before, and is still a great location to have a beer or some food on a nice sunny afternoon. Highly recommend it
Naughtons is the best. Stayed at the hotel for 6 weeks when I first moved to Melbourne from Canada and was still working out an apartment. The room was lovely, it’s very centrally located, and close to transit. The restaurant is also fantastic, with a warm and comforting atmosphere, as well as great quality food and drinks. But really the best part is the staff, they’re so incredibly friendly and really helped welcome me to my new home. I go back all the time just to see them:)
Cannot recommend Naughtons enough!
A review of the “hotel” side - Room is cute and with a view, water pressure in the shower can be improved
Visited this place specifically because they sold Wolf of the willows beer. It was a lovely afternoon so we sat outside which had a good range of seating. Indoor seating was spacious and there was a separate area for large groups. Great beer, wonderful service and the menu had some very tasty offerings. We only had a bowl of chips, but I will return to try out the other options.
Good value, great location, comfortable
Charming hotel. Booked 2 rooms and stayed for 4 nights. Arrived late at 10+ pm but it was not a problem as there was someone at the reception waiting for us.
The location is great. Not only is there a tram stop right in front of the hotel, it is also near Princes Park and University of Melbourne which gave me plenty of good options for my morning runs. Access to the city and amenities was really convenient using the trams.
Great roast pork with crackling on a cold Sunday night. The food, atmosphere and waitress were superb
Last visited in November 1981, when it was THE student hangout. Happy times, hope to visit again soon!
Norton's was very clean, quiet, compact and comfortable. The service and food in the restraunt were fantastic. We will be back.
Great pub with a good selection of beer and wine. Recommend the fish & chips (it comes with peas)
Great place to spot and spy academics and scientists who would frequent on a Friday afternoon. Good nosh and very popular. If it is cold outside they offer blankets too.
Nice unassuming place. If I lived closer this would be my regular. Friendly staff and service. Only had a couple of beers but nice and cozy.
