Nando's Bourke St

For some reason, the food portions are way too small for the price. The size of the meal would suit kids menu. Good environment though.

Hot paella was way too spicy for a spice lover like me to handle. I'll probably go with Medium next time. It was hot and tasty even after 30mins of takeaway

Restaurant was filthy, no one cleaning tables, had to ask three times for previous diners plates and mess to be taken away and when they finally did, had to ask them to use spray as they just pushed the remnants of the last meal around with a napkin

Remember the days when the chicken fillets on the burgers were thick in size, those were the days.

Order process good, friendly, accurate.
The manager or owner maybe, running a tight ship in there making sure orders go out in a timely manner.
Positive experience in line with Nando expectations.
I did feel the chicken fillets had somewhat diminished in size though.

Hygiene of the place is appalling. Tables were not wiped and precious customer’s plates and left over was left on the table. Even when our food has arrived we had to request for the table to be cleaned.

Clearly under staffed restaurant. Food quality was …. Worst Mandi’s experience ever….

Well cooked and tender chicken. They also cut into 8 pieces which other Nandos have stopped doing for some weird reason.

Ordered a ¼ chicken meal with peri peri chips. The meal arrived lukewarm, with the chips soggy and limp. I had to ask for the chips to be remade. The next bowl of chips was hot, but only the top layer had peri peri seasoning; the bottom layer was uncoated.

I had to ask for the table to be wiped. Even then, there was bits of rice still left on the other side of the table. There were small flies flying around the table and my meal, indicating poor hygiene practices in the restaurant. Very off-putting. The most disappointing Nando's experience I've had.

Extremely poor dine- in experience. The owner didn’t want to turn on air-cooler to save costs and the place smelled like sewage.
We someone managed to bear the stench as we were tired from all the walking. But to our dismay poorly cooked chicken and missing out on side orders left us in bad spirits. Trust me you better off to go and eat elsewhere other than this place.

The bloke that I assume owns this place is so bloody nice! Good vegan wraps for something quick.

The care and expertise in the way they cook the meals is exceptional.
Its a shame they close at 8pm at the moment but we totally understand and when we really want the best we make sure we come early.
I spoken directly to the head cook and the owner on several occasions and their love for Nando's and care for the process of making the meal the best it can be really shines through. They are 100% the real deal. If Nandos head office is reading this I hope and pray they know exactly what I am saying.
Put simply, if someone wants to experience Nando's the way its meant to be, please come here.and ENJOY

I have been to plenty of Nando’s stores and this one takes the cake! Was served by a warm, welcoming and kind manager. Usually I have to argue about getting my burger in a wrap but wasn’t a problem here. Food was incredible and fast service, definitely recommend!

Great food (it's nandos) but the service wasn't the best it could be honestly as expected from a franchise

The manager Victor is the best manager of all Nandos franchises. Highly recommend this branch over others for this reason, Victor went above and beyond to help me and resolve my enquiry. Come here for all your peri peri needs. Excellent customer service can't be taught and is invaluable.

So very welcoming Victor your wonderful friendly face and service is enough to make you want to stay morning noon and night the chips so yummy and fresh the lemon herb oooH so delicious, Victoria has beautiful table manners and service well not just Victor I did return the next day and the lovely young woman at the counter also had a great smile the food is fresh the atmosphere welcoming the coffee perfect! Thank you I will be sure to return next time I am in Melbourne town Thank you stay safe, stay healthy!

Love this restaurant as the manager is always friendly and helpful, has awesome staff as they have a great attitude which is what brings us back to this restaurant every time

Filthy, unhygienic restaurant. I complained to Nandos and they just said they would ‘forward my feedback”. Very unsatisfactory response. I barely touched my food as they didn’t wipe tables, bathroom hadn’t been cleaned for a week, litter, urine stench, food on the floor. Broken tap. The staff wore the mask under his chin and then removed it completely. People came in and didn’t check in. I won’t be eating there ever again.

I got seriously large fries.the quality was terrible.the color of the fries was a strange dark brown and I could tell the oil is so old.had to throw it away.will never buy from them again

Visited this nandos tonight and I must admit, I've never been greeted by such a lovely staff, especially the owner. Most amazing service I've ever recieved. Our food was served with presentation I hadn't seen at other nandos stores (ive been to countless). Food presentation + taste + staff and owner were truly INCREDIBLE. Great job guys:)

Has to be hands down one of my best Nandos experiences ever. Hospitality was beyond amazing, the food was served within minutes and everything was perfect from presentation to taste. Definitely will be back again!

The staff were very friendly, they even learned my full name and DOB before I entered. When I asked them how they did that, one of them tried to answer but she was instantly fired. I found this an unfair dismissal and I told them so: but then they showed me CCTV footage of her clearly being a malevolent ghost and I realised that not only was her termination warranted, conventional workplace regulations did not apply to her as she was not of this reality.

They should have more vegan options.
