Nando's Bourke St reviews
66I incorrectly ordered at the wrong Bourke St Nandos. The manager there saw my frustrations and was the most helpful person I’ve ever come across in any food chain. He gave me his store number and told me to call him direct to order to save time. He was kind, patient, understanding and helpful. I can’t thank him enough. Legendary effort, great food and nice to see good people exist in the world.
Staff at this restaurant point fingers at customers. In Australia, that behavior is extremely disrespectful to customers. I have experienced this behavior many times at this restaurant, so I am writing about it here. This is not India.
Great Chicken and side dish options. Love the healthy alternatives even if I have to pay more. But the cleaning standard was low, and the table bottles of peri peri sauce were not fresh.
Was promoted to use QR code instead of ordering at the counter even when there is no line? Anyway, nice location for a Nandos, might return again if I'm really wanting to devour alot of chicken
Peri peri goodness! Extra peri salt provided upon request. Lovely staff and no pressure to order using the app - they're happy to take your order at the counter. Tenders were decent and not these pathetic tiny things some franchises serve! However, lots of old chips made their way into my bowl Not so for my partner.
Food was Mando's done well. Staff were excellent - had my daughter with her medical service dog with us and they handled it all really well. Would definitely recommend this as one of the best Mando's I have been to
It's a nando's franchise so no surprises but the sink and condiments station plus the large eating space makes it get a higher than normal rating.
Nando’s has always been first choice while eating out. Their chicken menu has always been the best but now their vegan menu A. K. A pretenders are also becoming popular among vegans be it pretender wrap or pretender paella. Things we ordered
- Peri Peri Fries (Must order item)
- Paella Pretender
- Pretender Avogoodness
- Pretender Wrap
- Garlic bread
- Cheesy Pita
Service was bit slower this time but food covers all the faults
Had halomi and mild peri peri wrap with chips and a bottle of water. It was lovely not to spicy which suited me I'm not in to hot spicy. Glad I didn't opt for the burger I think I would have struggled.
Not a good experience.
It was a busy day and the food quality was not good.
Better to visit the place in quite days.
Another Nando’s run by a manager/owner with zero manners and super rude attitude. What’s wrong with these people and why can’t they be decent human beings just for a minute when serving customers! Wonder if Nando’s ever do audit to their stores and managers.
Tiny outlet, mostly for pick up or take away. Very busy but timely delivery of delicious Nandos chicken
The plate that contained my meal was so dirty.
They don’t care about hygiene
I do not recommend
Fast food is usually pretty iffy and corporate-feeling, but this nandos in particular is just gorg:) today I came in to grab some chips on my break and had to wait in a line behind a big group— I finally order and as soon as I sit down to wait my order was ready! The guy who handed it to me said he saw I was waiting a while so he just made mine first since it was small and I had to get back to work! Legendary behaviour.
Nando's Bourke Str in Melbourne CBD is the best Restaurant in the area. Love their chicken paella meal, simply the best for taste and quality! They have my fond regards always! The service is immaculate & polite!
Nice and busy shop but quick service and good food. Nice and charred and flavour throughout the meat.
This place is roomy and many tables and seating options exist. Customer service could be improved.
Place is ok when it comes to cleanness and tidiness. Tables are not wiped after use, although plates and cutlery are lifted promptly.
Again food is ok but was expecting chicken.
Positive:
- good food
- less waiting time
- lots of people are coming
- Local is in Melbourne Central area
Negative:
- Rice (personally I don't like it)
- all the table and chairs are too old / scathing.
- Door always open, so food get cold?
- embaince not good
Only one Nando's availabe in this area, so everyone is coming. B ut I will not recommend the place atleast for dinning. (its my personal choice)
Food was excellent service was friendly. Toilets were disgusting they had old piss stains. They also handed over a bottle opener that was filthy
This is the most professional, clean and nice Nando's it has ever been my pleasure to vist. This is everything that the Kotara Nando's is not (see my previous review of Kotara Nando's).
I ate at in store Sunday Afternoon about 5pm. The food served was excellent. The cutlery was filthy! Almost every piece available was dirty in some way.
