69The Indian lady duty Manager over there was rude, lacked courtesy and has a careless attitude. Asked for the chicken tenders as part of the salad bowl to be cooked halal in the same corn cob section where there already were other tenders being cooked but she refused and mentioned that she will only cook it in the ham grill deliberately. Racist and never experienced this sort of treatment in any other Nando's branches elsewhere who always accommodated and ensured the food is made halal. It was obvious she had something personal with Muslims and their dietary needs unlike any other branch where they acknowledge all their chicken is halal and gets cooked in another grill. Avoid this bodgy branch if you care about your halal food.
Unfortunately, the manager seems to be a bit rude and unprofessional.
Just witnessed a situation where she treated another customer poorly, and I felt very uncomfortable.
My last time in branch
Terrible service and very average food. 34min wait on food from time of order. Greek salad lettuce was brown and wilted. Whilst we were in there for the entire 1hour, not one table was cleared and customers had to self clean.
When ordering at the counter, I had to give them a table number first. The problem was that most of the tables had not been cleaned up from prior customers, so I just picked the only one that was. Food came out fairly quickly. However, the bread from the burger was dry like it was old and just heated up, the chicken was dry, and the chips did not taste fresh, mums salad had overly large pieces of lettuce that were going brown. Not to mention, there were 2 lots of families who walked in when we were already eating and had to stand around waiting for staff to come clean the tables for them. Staff only cleaned the tables the customers requested and did not rest.
I think that the management has changed for the better, service, food was really good, just needs a bit of a clean up inside and outside.
Spent $80 on takeaway tonight and very disappointed. There was no basting applied to any of it! The basting is what Nandos is all about! A bit of sauce had been thrown in the box and that hadn't even gone over half of the chicken.
It was ready 20 minutes after the specified pick up time.
What a rip off.
Drove 30 minutes and then wait a another 15 minutes to then be told that they cant give us our order as they ran out of what we ordered. Then be rudely told that they cant process a refund as we have to go back online to request a refund which will take a few days. Unacceptable. Terrible service. Deserves zero star rating.
What an awful experience, avpid this place like plague.
Worst service in geelong, stood at the counter for 10 minutes before been told to use the QR code to order.
In that 10 minutes 3 customers returned with wrong orders.
I wont be back, this fanchise should not be weqring the nandos name!
Had an overall good experience. I really like the fact that nandos hires really young people there to work there. It's a personal point of view but I love it
Paella tasted like microwave packet rice the chicken on top was nice enough.
Corn had no flavour.
Had no clean forks so when our meals were brought to the table we had no way of eating the dishes.
Overall disappointing
I went in today 08 feb in evening around 6p.m. To order food for take away, a guy appeared over the counter and told me to scan the takeaway sign, I told him that I do not have a cellphone to scan it as I left it in my car he suddenly told me that If you can't scan than you have to wait for next 5 to 10 mins as I am buzy in the kitchen else you can leave the place. I left the place with embarrassing situation, even there was other staff over the counter and restaurant was not much buzy. If you can't take the order over the counter then close your restaurant and get lost.
Food was lovely, staff members all helped find a place for my wheelchair. Wheelchair access ramp onto the main road pathway needs to be fixed as their is a large gap up, but great food and lovely service.
Great food but super noisy inside and recommend ordering online and picking up. It's quicker than ordering on person.
Just a shocking experience all round.
Waited 90 mins for delivery before calling the store. The Assistant told us they will make the meal ‘right away’ but we would have to collect it.
Tried ringing customer service for a refund, but they didn’t answer.
So we’re $50 down and without food.
Avoid at all costs.
Poor customer service. They don’t take order at the counter and you are told to order online. The staffs are rude and don’t clean the tables.
I would rate them zero if I could. Hopeless service, customers who came after us got their food delivered while we waited more than 30 mins and our food only got started cooking when I checked how far it is the second time. And they didn't even have the courtesy to apologise.
I have experienced that Nando franchises in recent times have gone a step down in the customer service. We visited this Nando in Belmont just by chance as our regular café was closed on the day. The staff at this franchise is very friendly and the quality of food was good as well. They have a seating outside which was kind of a cherry on the cake. I do recommend if you would like to enjoy a good Nando's
Always good quality of food. Only complaint is the are always out of ketchup and blame it on the supplier. Not that hard to walk over to Coles and buy some!
Portions have got a lot smaller and prices higher. The place looks filthy with dirty dishes left on tables. We waited 40 minutes for our meal and they messed up our order. Not a fan anymore
Absolutey disgraceful service and restaurant. 3 groups of people before me complained about waiting 45+ minutes and end up having their order refunded and walking away. We waited 40 minutes before I pressured the staff to hurry up because my kid was starting to cry. Their own staff were cracking it at eachother. Terrible place.
