Nagambie Brewery and Distillery reviews
65 My wife and I were really disappointed
We ordered the chicken thigh and Angus hamburgers which are quite pricey considering they don't come with chips (you get a pickle)
Both were underwhelming and poorly presented with amateurish effort and no culinary skill whatsoever.
The beer I had was flat and poorly brewed.
For all the money spent by Jayco's Gerry Ryan on the building perhaps hiring a top chef should be on the cards. Not worth the visit as better to go to Tahbilk and Mitchelton wineries for decent food.
Nice venue, great location but bad service. The food is also a
Mixed bag. The salad and squid were quite good but the pizza was poorly done. Good potential that is yet to be fulfilled.
A top notch eatery in Nagambie that was long overdue. The beer is fantastic, staff are friendly and helpful and the outlook over Nagambie Lake is great. The food is really well priced and is delicious too with something for everyone. Highly recommended a visit and make sure you sample their beers too.
No kids menu, menu is difficult to understand and doesn't have a lot of options for fussy eaters. Burgers don't come with chips or salads, a bowl of chips with shredded cheese and gravy is $10. Bar staff make drinks differently so unless you get the same team member you'll get a different drink. Takes a really long time to order when it's busy because bar staff take the orders, if you order something and they don't have it, they won't explain that to you they will just give you the next best thing. A share meal of chicken is only 4 pieces and doesn't come with chips or salad at all, it's literally just 4 pieces of chicken. I wasn't happy at all. Servers were friendly
Poor management resulted in us driving down for Melbourne for Mother’s Day lunch, arriving 5mins before “opening” only to be met with a full house and no seating available. This is despite phoning ahead early in the week and trying to book only to be told “we don’t take bookings, just get here at 12pm and you’ll be fine”. Disappointing.
