Nagambie Brewery and Distillery

The food was good but the service was really poor. We were taken to a table and ignored for 20 minutes, then it took a further 20 minutes after ordering for the wait staff to relay our order to the kitchen. An hour after that our starters arrived. When a member of our group brought this to the attention of the manager, he belittled our complaint even as meals were being served to tables seated long after we’d arrived. After all that waiting we found they’d taken one of our orders incorrectly, and we had to wait even longer for that to be corrected. Great venue, good food, but our experience felt like a waste of time.

This place is worth diverting off the motorway. Cafe and brewery, plenty to choose from off the menu. Setting overlooks the lake.

A pretty good gastro pub masquerading as a brewery (insert reason here).

The food is quite good, and considering the average gastto pub pretty averagely priced

They make a couple of local beers and sell a lot more imports

The lakeside views are atmosphere is the standout however. It's the perfect place for a chat with a few friends, or while the afternoon away having a chat with a neighbour as I have done.

Wife and I came for Sunday lunch. We ordered a corn bread for starter and steak and chicken breast for main. The steak came out first then the chicken breast and then the corn bread. Bit disappointed with the dessert also. Doughnuts were very average.

It would be nice if everybody’s meal could arrive at roughly the same time. A 20 minute delay is not acceptable

Terrible! Service is horrible, Staff are very clueless.
Food leaves you still hungry. They stuffed my food up, Tomato in salad looked off. My partner had eaten his whole pizza before I even got my burger. Definitely won’t be back and don’t Recommend to anyone. Very disappointed.

Staff are completely clueless and rude. Soft drinks get served with as much ice as can fit, and with a mini can poured in. Food is the only saving grace, although it takes a long time to come out.

View and decor is amazing. Was seriously let down by the food though - $18 for a burger and didn't even come with chips? Nor did the waitstaff ask if we wanted chips with it because we would've forked out the extra $9 if we'd know. Would go for drinks but the foods not worth it.

Looks cool but the place can’t keep up with the service. We had to wait for nearly an hour for a burger and chips that is over priced, bland and simply plain uneventful is just annoying.
Best to just go to the local fish and chips place or come for a few drinks but definitely not a meal!

My wife and I loved the chicken pizza with a few brews. Consider our thirsts quenched. A reason alone to see Nagambie!

The views alone is worth a look.
Had a burger and chips with their pale ale.
Service and friendly staff.
Certainly will put this on my list next time l am driving through.
Nagambie itself is worth a stopover to stretch your legs.

FYI this is not sufficient tomato for an $18 burger. Beer and view are great, food and service lacking.

This place has the worst food ever! Chickn wings smell like they have been boiled first. Chips with cheesy gravy
Suggests Chessy gravy. Grated cheese with black tuck shop gravy. Girl behind the bar was extremely rude

My family and I spent New Year's Eve at the Nagambie Brewery and I want to share with everyone what a fantastic night we all had! Food, wine and staff services were excellent. We'll definitely be returning next year. Thanks again to all the Brewery Management and Staff for making this night a success!

Well done guys NYE was a great night, great food, wine & friendly staff & yes best seat on the lake to watch the fireworks.

FYI the burgers are restaurant prices and you pay for a great venue. If you want a cheap burger and a plastic table then go to maccas

Poor food, Margherita pizza was like eating cold tomato on toast & being a Carlton draught man disappointed they only had crafted beer on tap.
Took 20 minutes to be served at the bar due to bar- attendants taking drink & food orders at the same time. Didn’t seem as thou anyone was in charge. One star for complex, however, stars for views!

Great place to order a couple of share plates and relax with family and friends. Dog friendly on the deck which is great.

A brewery and distillery that has zero of it's own products for sale but sells expensive schooners. The pork curry worked out to be $25.00 which included 5 small cubes of pork and half a potato. Head on over to the pub just next door and while it may be dated, it's significantly better value

First beers are coming through and are clean and delicious. Fabulous location. Food seemed excellent, with thin based wood fire pizzas especially appealing. Still a new place, so some teething problems likely explain some early reviews?
